I had started frequenting a certain writing site where you can write content for business's, blogs and the like and be payed for it. Well I started searching the available ones needed, found afew that sounded interesting. I looked further for more info on what the clients wanted which was a real problem. THe amount of information given on what they wanted was very slim. They would give you afew keyword or a link and said this would give you the information needed to write the article. You go to the link and you either have to register on the site to be able to get into the site OR you reach an ad trying to sell some product. What I am wondering is if this site is just a scam and a way for these companies to make money by putting up a false need for an article to get you to go to this link and then have you perhaps buy the product or register on the site giving them the credit for it or whatever. I am saddened to think that this site that I thought might have been a place to make some good money has turned out to be a scam. I am not giving the name for obvious reasons. Am glad I didn't tell any friends about it. Have any of you come across such a place? Your thoughts.

Hmmmmm. That does sound rather fishy! I've been trying to look into other writing avenues online as well . . . but I haven't had the time to be able to truly do more research on them. I tend to hold back until I know a site is not a scam - though it's not always possible to know it until you see for yourself. I think I was even skeptical of myLot when I first joined - but soon enough, there was proof that it was indeed legit. I try to look up all the reviews I can on earning sites as well or look into forums (even myLot) to see what people say about it. I'm not into any problematic ones - not worth my time or energy to worry about it . . . if it were me, I'd probably give it one last effort to see if that's the way things are run - and if I know in my heart it's a waste of time, I'd drop it like a hat. Hope you can find more reliable info on it . . . sorry about the disappointment.

I do the very same thing. I hear of ones on here all the time but rarely check them out until I know for sure. Even this one was a rarity but I thought I would give it try cause I was to go on a vacation but looks like I won't. Ugh! Really puts a bad taste in my mouth too.

I have seen too many of them, I go out and check them but then always come back to mylot. As its the only one which has been paying me since 2009. I like it here its cosy and safe and no nonsense kind of site and I make a lot great friends here.

Personally anymore it is getting harder and harder to find Good content places where people are actually writing something or wanting something to be wrote. I know too many people who almost copy something and then get paid for it, instead of being Creative and actually try and write something New. And even people that are paying others to write for them, they are not wanting Good they are just wanting something that they can put out there even if the quality is not there. I think gone are the days of quality, and quantity usually becomes the key?

It sure is. And I was really excited about this possibility. They always seem to want the highest quality for littlest money. And they are really picky and yet they don't give you enough information about what they actually want for you to be able to hone anything out for them. Gone are those days when you expected a good job.

now you got me curious but anyway, i dont usually try sites where you have to buy stuff or write an article on it. i have a friend on here that seldom comes here any more that has given me 2 sites i love. very little work , good return. i dont know how she finds them. 
so really i havent found any site like you are talking about. 2 people like this

I'm sorry if you experienced some scamming site and made you sad right now.Unfortunately I haven't encountered any scam site. Sometimes when I need something from any site and would ask me to give any personal info and credits It scares me and I would tend to stop signing up.
