This is a long shot...how can I get superglue out of my hair and scalp?!

May 17, 2012 4:41pm CST
I had a sleep study the other day (I have them every so often) and they stuck the electrodes on to my head with superglue. I thought it was just water soluble glue at first, but then it really did have that superglue smell. Anyway, when it came to getting the glue off my slap and out of my hair, it appeared to the doctors that the technicians that fixed them on put way too much glue on, and got it all tangled in my hair. They told me to use acetone to get it out, but it's not working. I've tried different oils, I've dried drying it out, picking it out, brushing it out - no luck. Except from cutting my hair, does anyone have any wild ideas as to what might be able to help?

I have never had it in my hair. I always use nail polish remover, which can be made of acetone, but not always. I would then use lots of oil, like baby oil or Vaseline. It may have to wear out, if you can do it.
