Sell Video Game currency for REAL money

Has anyone ever sold in-game currency for real money. I have plenty of times for multiple games. When I quit Puzzle Pirates I was able to sell all my PoE in the game for $125! I have also sold Runescape a few times. I always sell my gold through big third-party sites where I know I can't get scammed. Most of the games where you sell gold for real money are PC-based MMORPGs and I was wondering if there was any Console games where you could sell your in-game money for real money.

You know it's against RuneScape rules to do that and you can be legally sued for that? However, a friend of a friend of a friend of mine 
made several bucks selling ingame currency and accounts.

I was thinking if that was possible a few days ago but I don't know where one would go for these purposes...if there is something like an ebay for in-game stuff I would be really interested though

Since this is a relatively new thing to sell your game money for real money, I don't think any consoles games offer this option. I do know though that you can cash out your game money for real money in Farming for Cash and also in SecondLife.
