Hello mylot users, it's already been quite a time since I last posted and opened this account. I have been busy these past months, looking for works to pay my dues and school. Fortunately, I have come to a job that fits my lifestyle and schedule. Honestly, I was not thinking I would be in so much trouble when I used the money from our organization. I had no choice though, it was the last major field trip available for my school days, and it's really required 'cause it's in our course prospectus, and my mom have no one else to ask money from 'cause she too had a lot of debt. I was really on deep trouble and sorrow and depression at that time that I even thought of committing something harmful to myself. But my grip and faith was so strong I could not do it, and thankfully, I have managed to overcome that problem. For now, I am on my 6th year of my Civil Engineering Course, yes, 6th it is! Due to depressions and guilt, my studies were affected. I was not able to attend school 'cause I was thinking what would be the use of going if I won't be able to finish the semester 'cause of unpaid balances. But still I pursued hoping that I will land on a job. And now, I am working and studying at the same time, without any hindrances. I am currently earning about 12k a month, that won't be much for someone living in a city, but for me, it's enough to pay my dues and sustain my family's budget. I am now a breadwinner and a happy person with a strong faith and love for life and especially and thankfully to GOD! P.S. I will graduate this March, and gifts are mostly welcome... :D hahaha

Congratz on overcomming many hurdles and getting a job suitable for you. 12k though? Do you mean dollars, pounds, euros etc?

thanks! no it's in Philippine Peso, so converted to USD, it's about $300, but it's enough for us living a simple life in a town,, maybe if I were in a city, this won't do it.

First of all congratulations on finding a job and also on graduating this March! You are a hard worker and I am very impressed. All your hard work is going to pay off and soon you won't have to do jobs like this to help pay the bills. I'm doing this job so I can earn a little of money before I head off to got on a religious mission for two years. I'm also a strong believer in God and got to church every Sunday. Once again congratulations and enjoy life!

By the way, I don't make the amount I earn here, it's an online part time job.

I am happy that you are doing great and I wish and pray you find a better paying job. One thing I came to realize is that we should never give up in our dreams no matter how long it takes. It is true that we may face many challengers but with determination and getting focused we can reach our dream. keep up! You are doing great.
