Okay, so I'm easily amused, I'm aware of this, but the generic dominoes pizza phone call made me laugh. They gave me the generic call to me my order was on it's way, and at the end of it they said something about remembering to leave the light on. I know it's for night time, but it's not even 5 here yet, so it's still light out. I thought I'd share this because it did make me laugh.

ha ha ha that is so funny. Why would you on your light on when it was only 5:00. wonder what he was think about when he said that, maybe he was out to late the night before and drank a little to much and had a hang over lol...

I guess I'm easily amused too, because I've heard it say that and started to giggle a little. It says it regardless of time too because I called and made an lunch order for my office one time and it said it. I started to giggle and made sure to go tell our receptionist that if our light outside wasn't on then we weren't eating lunch. We even asked the delivery guy why it said that during the day and he had no clue what we were talking about. Oh well, make sure your light is on or no pizza for you.

hi syramoon my first chuckle of the day and I bet that message was stuck there and not changed in mo nths. thats like the hair dryer I almost bought a nd decided not to. I read all the malarkey about how efficient it was etc, then it says. do not dry your hair with this electrical hair dryer while in the shower. duh do they think the buyer is that stupid? lol lol that turned me off and I bought a different brand.another one with a thermometer, do not boil this to clean it, huh? say what? again I chose a different brand one that treated me the may be buyer as having some intelligence.

It's most likely so they can find the house/apt/etc. and for their own safety. With all the messages on pizza websites that drivers never carry more than twenty dollars, they've most likely been mugged or attacked more than once. It's sad to think that such things would happen top some poor person just trying to do their job and deliver pizzas, but the phone call is still pretty funny.

That is funny...it probably says it even in the middle of the day as they probably don't want to change their message. Suppose they mean it more as an 'old' saying though than literally leave the light on.
