A home

Every day I walk past a bungalow and it has a for sale sign outside it. Funnily enough on the Internet site says it is sold. I believe this would be very confusing for someone looking to purchase a new home. I like to look at adverts for houses for sale for my own interest. It lets me keep updated on house prices. I especially like to read about bungalows the same size as mine. That bungalow which is for sale or sold is similar to mine. I am very happy with where I live. What do you think of that estate agent showing for sale and sold? Do you find it interesting to read about homes for sale or rent? Are you happy with where you are living at the moment?

I am happy, I've lived here since 1984 and I have the house paid for.

I think that it is important to change the sign when a house gets sold. It is confusing when a house looks like it is for sale when you see it in real life and looks like it is sold when you see it one the internet. When we bought our house they changed the sign to sold. One of my mother's friend who lives on our island saw that the sign had been changed to sold and he said to my mother: "I just saw that the sign had been changed to sold, and I am very sorry about that, I knew your daughter wanted to buy that house" My mother laughed and said: "Yes, it is sold, my daughter bought it!" Before we bought our house and I often looked at houses online, but today I don't visit the internet sites about houses, because we don't plan on moving. We are happy to live in our current house. The only problem is the noise from the neighbours, because the walls are very thin. Aside from that it is a great place to live and we are both happy to live here.

Hi Maxine, I'm not happy where I live. It is a 1000 SFT. flat. I live in a crowded city. Like me many people live in congestion in a city life. I have a dream to live at a big bungalow with garden. I would not be able live in bigger space because of my limited income. If possible I would live in a country side.
