Creepy chimes.

I was alone here in my house since my daughter is on vacation. Last night I was watching TV on the couch and all lights are turn off, only the TV and my laptop are on, and the lights are coming from them.
On the screen door that has a small curtain there was a chime that was connected to the screen door. I was concentrated watching my favorite soap when suddenly I heard the chimes moved. It's a little bit odd that it happened only when there was a strong wind. I ignored
it first and thought maybe it is only on the soaps I was watching. And then it moves again and I ignored again. For the third time it moves again hmmmm I have to investigate
. Even if I have to watched on the TV screen I turn my eyes on the chimes and watch it closely. I don't believed in ghost that's why i'm not nervous then.
After 5 minutes of looking it closely walla I saw a small mice running pass by the curtain that's why the chimes move. I told it to my friend and she told me there was a ghost It just that I don't see them. Hmmm it is not a ghost I told her it's a mice I saw it with my two eyes trying to go back and fort trying to bridge on the curtain where the chimes are located that's why it's sounds. hahaha
Have you experienced like this get creepy in things specially at night?

Must have been a weird wind whipping up. And as far as it being a ghost I would say that if you have a loved one that has passed-- well they do let their loved ones know they are watching over a person. When I am alone sometimes I hear things in the apartment. It could be someone in the apartment on either side of me but I have no way of really knowing.

I'm only renting an apartment and I don't know if there is anyone who passed away in this house. I do not believe in ghost either, usually when I heard strange noise like that I'm really searching it where it came from, normally I found out mice are playing.

No, I meant have you have any relatives die recently? Not necessarily in the home. You don't have to believe in them for them to come to you. They may be trying to communicate because something is wrong in your life. Or they are just trying to let you know they are there.

Hello lynbb. I was living with my grandparents and When I was about thirteen they had left me home alone. I had been watching the twilight Zone. This was a series that could be very creepy at time especially if a young kids let their imagination get away from them. And I was good at that. Any way My grandparents had gone to a friends for the evening And I was alone. We only had one television station at that tie. The episode I was watching was about ants with human faces. Out side the wind began to blow and made branches brush against the window screen. When I looked at the window I could see one of those ants faces. As it turned out it was the way that dirt was on the screen that made it look like a face. I sure was scared. I don't remember the story line just how I was scared at the time.

Yes! I have a window behind the headboard of my bed. This window has a screen in it. At night, when I'm watching TV in the bedroom, I'll hear small thumps on the screen. It scared me the first time I heard it because I didn't know what was hitting the screen and getting so close to where I was sitting. We have bears and lots of other wildlife around here so it could have been anything trying to get into my house.
It turned out to be gigantic moths that were attracted to the light coming from my bedroom and flying right into the screen. 
I'm just glad I didn't call anyone to investigate the "wild animals" outside my bedroom window!

Yes but there are ghosts in my house for sure!! 
No really there are some weird noises here all the time! Doors close by themselves!! I am not kidding one day I was in my room and my daughter was in her room and we were the only ones here and there are 3 bedrooms and no one stays int he back room and I was sleeping and I heard a door close real hard like someone was slamming it and I did not know my daughter was sleeping on the floor in my room that night and she woke up to and said 'MOM'!! Did you hear that and it was like 3 a.m. So we both got up and checked every where int he house and nothing!! No one!! We were so scared!1

LoL, so it's just the small mice They have tricked me a lot of times too. The cat on the roof also sometimes scares me at night when I suddenly hear creepy sounds. Only to find out it;s a mice or a cat.

For me the mice would be creepier than the chimes! For a while there was a raccoon living under my house and that was really creepy!

Yes mice can certainly make things sound creepy at home indeed!
Usually other than the noises the cats and mice make especially when the cats are on the prowl that creeps me out occasionally is our screen door. If it's not latched properly and the wind is blowing it will bang.

Yes your right, I remember my ex when were still living together and we rented our friends old house. He ran from me from the kitchen when he heard the old piano was making a sound at the middle of the night. I went to the piano while my ex is at my back, I kicked the piano and we saw almost three mice running out away from us.

Well, yeah- my wife was scared of chimes at one time since she saw it in a horror movie, how creepy it was when it was s silent and it's giving off sounds.. I haven't really seen a ghost, but i am not dismissing the possibility, but usually it is explainable.. weird stuff.

Are you referring to wind chimes? The ones made from brass or copper tubes? Thought they were placed outside or hanged on the door to bring good fortune and drive away ghosts and evil spirits

Yes it is. I put it in my screen door so I can heard if someone going inside and outside the door. I don't know that it can drive away ghost or evil spirit.

Yes, I have had weird experiences at night, but there is always a reason for it. Like you, we had mice and we heard things.
