I logged into my bank account to pay my VISA. There was $21.19 withdrawn from my bank account it said in description IDP Purchase. I dont know what this is and dont normally use my bank account (unless depositing money at the bank machine, or transfering it to my credit card).

Contact your bank and ask them for a detailed explanation of the $21.19 withdrawal. Do not settle for the run around, request firmly a complete and honest answer. Make sure this is a legitimate fee, if not, request a refund.

I called the bank and asked them. It as a debit transaction and I filed a report as I dont use my debit. They put the money in my account after seeing my history of not using it.

This is what I read online: Canada's national debit card service for purchasing of goods and services. Customers enter their personal identification number (PIN) So someone has used a debit card on your account. Someone who knows your PIN. Have you forgotten a debit card purchase that you have made? Like the previous responder, I would be calling my bank and finding out where that purchase was made and what was purchased. They should be able to find that out. Then you will know if you bought something and forgot about it.

im not sure what an IDP purchase is either but it sounds like someone has hacked and is using your account, you better go to the bank and see what is going on before it gets worse and leaves you broke or owing other people for things you did not do or get, you will probably have to close that account and get a new one.. also you can ask the bank what the idp purchase is and when it was done what day and tell them it is not yours and they should refund you the money..good luck on that take care other wise :)
