We own a home in WA. Its being rented out. My renters have two dogs. My old neighbor has decided these dogs are the cause of everything wrong in the neighborhood. They have banged on my renters door and yelled at them about the barking. They are saying other neighbors are complainning yet i have heard from no one else and my renters have not either. These neighbors are forgetting the other 50 dogs in the neighborhood. So the other night after she responded to an email I sent her telling her the time frame she described my renters have informed me the dogs were not barking. She wrote me telling me they go in cycles, blah, blah. So i emailed her back and in a nice way told her to back off. Needless to say I havent heard from her again. Why cant people just be nice neighbors and act like adults?

That's terrible. It seems that nobody else had complained and yet your neighbour have been bothered with complaints from a neighbour who seemed concerned for the wrong reason. Maybe she's looking for attention? I mean why would anyone bother since the dogs or pets are not bothering anyone else? She is probably bored and want to find someone to talk to and she thought might as well do it this way, can gain attention. anything is possible with lonely neighbours these days.

it seems that every neighbourhood has to have one that has eaten sour grapes. we live in a condo complex where my hubby is the president of the board. the board decided that they would put in fences (at no cost to the owner) and the first one got done and someone is complaining that it is too low to the ground! (really? you don't have better things to do with your time?)

I think some people just need something to complain about. They need to have something to do. If their lives are that boring why dont they find something to occupy themselves?
My mother in law is like this, she complains if its cloudy, complains if everything doesnt go her way, complains if someone looks at her, complains if her dogs need food or water, etc. All you hear when your around her is complaints. Thank goodness i am not around her often because it can bring everyone down!
There are plenty of people like this and its very annoying!! Hopefully that lady will find something to do with her own life!

People like to huff and puff about things to make them sound more important, and to prove they are right...whether that is that actualy case or not. If she doesn't like it, maybe she should move somewhere else.
