i am new in mylot.. so i heard about mylot rsanking.. what are the tips to earn rank from mylot

What do you mean by "ranking"?
Your User Rating is the number in brackets by your name. That increases every time you are involved in a discussion. It is roughly a 'discussion count' rather than a 'post count', so the more responses you make in different discussions, the higher it becomes.
You will see your MyLot Reputation 'star' when you reach a User Rating of 100. That is decided entirely by how other members rate your discussions, responses and comments. It is partly those ratings, too, which also decide your 'rank' in the Interests you subscribe to.
If you want to increase your reputation, make sure that the discussions you start and the responses and comments you make are of the highest quality so that other members will tend to rate them well.

thanks for your responses... when ever i try to add a smily in my discussion or comments or response its says that my rank must be 500.thatswhy i asked

If it tells you 500 then there is an error.
You can add smilies once you reach a user rating of 200.

hello first things you have to know here you can find by reading FAQ's.
interest ranking are those you find in interests. the more you post in certain interests, the higher your rank gets.
About the smilies, you can make use of them when you reach the 200 number indicated next to your name.
