i don't know if you are with KFC in the US. but i know it is an american fast food that is not popular in the US any more. anyway, we have already 7 11, mc donalds and other local fast food chain that is popular here, we also have pizza hut, just few blocks away from our home. which we don't have a few years back. so i don't know where they can have KFC here. It seems there is no more place for them to set up a business near our place. Not unless they buy the spot of one residential house. and replaced that house with their business. As most fast food chain here, just bought the residential house, then destroy them and then build their business their. At least those houses were so old anyway, it is much better for them to sold their house to big fastfood chain.

I guess that's the one good thing about these businesses going there. Someone will be paid handsomely for their land, and maybe it also provides new opportunities for better jobs as well?

I was a fan of kfc before because of their crispy, tasty chicken. But now the quality isn't the same as before. And their customers aren't as many. Before they always have very long queue everytime i go there. Now, so it's okay if they don't have a branch near us. I have changed to another chicken restaurant , which is selling delicious roasted chicken. But this one is local brand. Very popular. Much more popular than kfc now in our country even to mcdo.

@hotsummer I have a sneaking suspicion you may be referring to Jollibee?

@porwest actually no, i was referring to mang inasal, which was acquired by jollibee after it became very popular to kill the competition. Anyway i am surprised you know Jollibee. And that it has been a decade when i had this discussion.

OMG! KFC is still very popular in the USA! Not as big as McDonalds but still popular! So is Burger King! Alot of stores like Walmart have a Subway store in the building like the two Walmart in my city. Some big gas stations/mini marts have a McDonlads or some other fast food place. In the city I live so many buildings were a business, that have either moved elsewhere or gone out of business, stay empty! Some of these buildings could be great for some businesses but alot of businesses rather build brand new buildings instead! It is a crying shame!

We have KFC here and most malls have them. I like their chicken and gravy more than any fast food chain. I also love their mashed potatoes and mushroom soup. It makes me crave for KFC now, haha.

There are still many KFC's in the USofA. Many times, the new ones seem to share space with another fast food chain, such as Taco Bell. I heard that KFC had to change their name from Kentucky Fried Chicken because the name gave the false impression that they used real chicken. I don't know if that's true. I've had friends who grow chickens for KFC, and they're real, just full of all sorts of vitamins and growth hormones. I really don't know.
