I'm not supposed to drive for for weeks after the operation. So this dance, etc. weekend came up and a friend of mine said she would go and wondered why afterward. I told her so she could drive me! Nothing selfish about that, was it?
Anyway, it will be Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. It's supposed to be flexible and geared toward everyone's fitness level. Mine will be crawling level. We'll be sleeping on camp beds, so I have to get my sleeping bag washed. So I'll have to go to an industrial washing machine laundry mat for that. They have a place to go swimming, not that with all the inscisions that I have healing that I can swim. But it's available. They're supposed to have meals provided. I know I'll need to bring extra food because For $100 for room, food, and an instructor, something is going to be light. Something tells me it's going to be the food. I hope that after Saturday, I can even get up for Sunday.Thsy might have to just roll me into the car.
It seems like if I do much on one day, I'm wiped out the next. I'm going to try to pace myself, but if there is any "jmumpin" music as in face-paced stuff like clogging, I'll be wiped out in no time.
So wish me fun, luck, lots of learning, healing, whatever. Do you have any plans for this weekend? Did you have plans or do anything last weekend?

Sounds like fun!! Was for for last weekend since your discussion was last week? How did it go? There are weekends like that for skating as well, but I've never done those overnight "camps" . . . sounds like it'd be great fun though!! Last weekend we were busy moving - and had a week of the moving process (so I had missed your discussion). Now we're unpacking!! Not as fun as a dance, etc weekend but it sure wiped me out! How are you feeling??

It was exhausting, but great fun. At first it was frustrating because my feet were so slow compared to the music, like they had led in them, but when the adrenaline finally kicked in, I could keep up and that was great!
Then I went for chemo and got really, reallly sick. I was sick for 10 days.
I went and told my Dr. I can't do chemo all the time. 2 weeks on and one week off, three weeks on and one week off, I don't care what he offers me. I have to be able to do things. I can't sit in bed and feel sorry for myself. Watch the summer go by. So he's giving me 6 weeks off and will check to see what the cancer has done by then.

The shorter answer is that right now I feel great! I have a load of clothes on the clothes line. I just finished boiling and egg and making pasta,. That's more at one time than I've been able to do.

Oh that adrenaline - it does give us that extra kick in energy! So glad you had fun!! Sorry to hear you were sick after the chemo . . . I was wondering where you were! I can only imagine chemo - I hear it zaps you of energy - and I don't blame you for not wanting it all the time. You are definitely a "do-er" - and I'm sure doing things feel much for you than sitting in bed! Glad to hear you're feeling great now - you're back!

Glad you're online with me this AM.
Yes, I think this will be so much fun. They have a lot planned. I'm not sure where my daily map works into all of this.
Hope things go well for you in Minnesota. If it's not being too nosey, what will you be doing there? Other thabn travel to DRs. I haven't traveled, so any all and travel sounds great to me now.

Daily map? Nap maybe? No you are not too nosey. My daughter is expecting her third child any time now. I have worked my schedules around to go help out a little. Depending on who you listen to the baby was due May 26, or today, or June 6. . . but as my daughter says, it will be here when it is ready. She wants a June baby as she has a May child. I will also get to visit with Grandpa Bob (Webeishere) as he lives about ten minutes from her. This is the reason I am washing up squares for her afghan. I hope to get it put together and surprise her. I need to start one for the baby. Just finishing the one for the three year old.LOL. I wanted to see if we are a boy grandma or a girl grandma this time. Daughter and Son in law like to be surprised.

Yes, I meant nap and not map.
How exciting! It's wonderful that she or he will have such a talented Grandma. I hope that whenver the child comes, s/he is happy and healthy.
May and then June child would be nice. Give you some time between birthdays.

I'll try not to overdo it. But that might be a challenge.

hi,
Really it is a nice to know that you are enjoying your weekend. There is a good exercise due to Dance and Yoga. And a meditation is essential for mental peace. So in short overall all the parts of your body are active which seems rarely in the case of all. Keep on doing all these good things and be in touch.

It was a wonderful weekend. Thre was time for individual meditations and many people did avail themselves of that, but nothing led, mostly because we all have different styles and interests in meditation.
