What is a perfect world to you?

I know there's no such a thing a perfect, but let's just put it that way for the sake of discussion. For me the ideal, if not perfect world, is one where pride doesn't exist . Pride could start wars and conflicts, sometimes it could make people do something wrong in order to salvage their pride. To say the least, the perfect world for me is one where everyone is friends, there's no conflict and everyone respects one another.

I agree with the no conflict, but a perfect world for me would be a world where there is no difference in wealth. For example, if the wealthest people in the world had a little less, the poorest people in the world would have a little more.. to me that would be perfect!

This is just my opinion, but I think what you're referring to is more like a communist government. Communism could actually work if the people governing it is 100% honest and dedicated to serving the public.

Hi Chicks, if your opinion of being perfect is basing only on wealth that very conflicting.. the world are designed by God which composed of various sides, various types of character and different to each other in other to say perfect.

What?? it isn't based on wealth at all! Do you not understand what I said?? My response was that poor people got out of poverty. So there were no poor people. That's hardly saying my perfect world is based on wealth?

We know the definition of perfect - means complete, good and happy. Do you think if there are bad things, un-complete, not-good and unhappy - we cannot say it is not perfect. I think it is wrong because un-complete, not good, unhappy are part of the world like God purpose, He using bad to determine the good - meaning need positive and negative to see it is perfect.... see you around

You could say that. I guess the definition of perfect is relative, that's what I used the other word ideal since perfect for me is nonexistent. Everything aside, I believe we are perfect in our own little way in God's eye.

Relatively yes your correct... In God's eye we are good (not perfect) because being perfect means in the fulness. Like Jesus, he is perfect in the eye of God but criminal in the other during his time.

Whatever you say man. I'm in no position to speak anything about religion, especially Christianity, since I myself don't happen to be a perfect Christian. Often times, I don't believe these "modern day Pharisees" around us. I guess that doesn't make me perfect?

The perfect world to me would be one in which I am able to spend time with my friends and family without anything else getting in the way of that. At the moment, I have to work far too much for my liking, and this has started to mean that I am just not able to spend the amount of time with my family that I would like to. If money was not a problem, then I would probably cut down on the amount of work that I had to do, and instead spend that time with my family, as they are the most important thing to me.

Yes, nothing is perfect without our family. In reality, we sometimes have to make sacrifices to make ends meet. All we can do is hope that in the end our efforts won't go to waste.

To me a perfect world is where I can be myself and can be free. BTW your perfect world is more like Utopia. People will never respect eachother, they only talk about it, same with love. Perhaps one day they will if there are no religions anymore, everybody is blind and deaf and looks the same.. but even in Brave New World that didn't work. Everybody being friends sounds very exhausting to me, it will take a lot of energy, also it might be very boring as well.

I guess you're right on that. I little conflict could spice things up, but too much like what's happening today, it's just not worth it.

Well pride is a very positive term ,the more appropriate term can be ego.The word world is so relative in nature and same is the conception of its perfect existance. For me a perfect world is a world of happiness and contentment where human values and moral beliefs are at the front end.Its a world of compassion,a world of no exploitation,a world of noble deeds.

i think the perfect world would have prefect equality on all levels, no one looks down on his fellow man or woman. equality in race, gender, wealth, education, religion and i could go on and on. i think this would make people less envious and conflicts would be reduced.

I completely agree with you on this one. It's all about respect, nobody's better than anybody. We all have flaws, so why judge another soul when we ourselves are not perfect?

I think this world should be perfect if the people works with conscientious. If everyone do their duty without fail and in the straight way without any short way, more problems would be lost in this world.
