The last few days my hair feels like oily, and goopy (similar to it you dont wash all the shampoo out).
Its underneath my hair right by the scalp. I cant seem to make it go away and its annoying.
I dont eash my hair everyday either, and use an organic shampoo and conditioner already.

Samples would really come in handy here. Your body may be reacting to your physical condition. You could try different types of conditioner and shampoos. You might be able to try those in between shampoo powders, they are suppose to keep your hair looking great in between washings. The sounds challenging.

I would go out and get a clarifying shampoo, or you could put a spoonful of vinegar in a glass of warm water and use that after the shampoo. that happens to me if I sweat a lot.

I know the power of a great shampoo, and from what you are saying I believe you need a clarifying shampoo. There are quite few on the market. Find one within your budget, and see what it does for you. Once again, the shampoo I think you are needing will have the verbal description of clarifying. I hope that makes a difference in the feel of your hair. The best ones I would imagine won't strip your hair, but provide deep cleansing. I would not use a clarifying shampoo daily unless it was described as being gentle enough to use more often.

There are many home remedies you can go with. People say putting egg in your hair, or lemon in your hair helps. Even tomato juice can help, of course these are all kind of "Gross" remedies. I am not sure which each respective thing is used for exactly, but I've heard all of these to help hair health.
I know you say you use organic, but have you been using this one for awhile? You are really supposed to change your shampoos ever so often, if its' doing this to your hair I'd say a new brand is in order, atleast for awhile.

We do get bad hair days literally.. Do have a salon visit. Maybe they know what causes this if this have been for days..
I had decided to cut my long hair because it became so dry in the summer. I think my hair is growing fast now. :) I wash my hair daily and use conditioner almost daily. I only use shampoo two to three times a week. I feel its a need to go to salon for hair treatments. I wish I have a hair like others that is like wash and wear. I wish to have a soft and shiny hair without salon treatments

My hair got super-oily what seemed practically overnight in my teens. I had been using the same Shampoo brand for years, but suddenly it seemed completely ineffective for keeping my hair dry. So I found a for-oily hair shampoo brand (Suave) and tried it out. My hair immediately cleared right up and was back to normal. Ever since then I've used Suave, and if I use another shampoo brand or don't wash for three days my hair gets super oily.
I remember you recently changed birth control pills, it could be hormonal. I recommend Suave if you can find it, or look for another for-oily hair shampoo. I know the organic shampoo is probably better for the environment, but I don't know about it doing anything to take care of a sudden change in hair-texture problem.

I used to have oily hair. I had to wash it every day or it would be awful stringy. Now I only was my hair twice a week. I could probably go 4 days now without washing it. In fact I can do the most with it two days after washing it. My hair dried out after menopause I guess.
