I've not started yet but I think I am going to start collecting Avon Glassware, the ruby red kind though I've seen a few purple I want. These are vintage, and very beautiful. I've seen them on ebay and will just have to wait and save up to start collecting. For now I'll get boxes to put it in until I can get a case for them or something. I'll have to get bubble wrap too.
They are beautiful and something I'd want to have around me.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I have swore not to buy anything from Avon again after I sold it and they sc*ewed me over. I havent bought anything from them in years, and so no I dont know what your talking about. They do have some nice items, and I think if you like it then you should treat yourself.

This is glassware, I don't think they carry anymore. I'd have to buy them on ebay. I've never been screwed over by them but I've only bought from people I knew who was selling it. I wouldn't want to try anyone else as you just never know. I suppose you used to be a representative though? You said you old it and they screwed you over so I assume you meant something went wrong when you were a rep.

That is terrible! They scammed you out of money and then made it hard for you to sale things on the campaign that's supposed to be FULLY stocked for all reps!

I've never seen any of the ones I want at a thrift store, but I have seen precious china there and was like "REALLY?" if they knew the value they would have kept it for sure.

I remember these from back when I was selling Avon many years ago. This was an absolutely beautiful set. At one time back in the day' I actually even owned a couple of the pieces and many times still wish I owned them. Good luck trying to get all these and have fun with your collection.

They are very beautiful and I've found a few pieces in a purple color which makes it that much more worth it in my opinion. Thank You. You can find them on ebay they have many and many of them.

My dad has quite the collection of it. He bought it from me when I was an Avon Lady.

I've not really looked at anything else avon has to offer except for beauty supplies but a friend of mine does avon now and so I may have to check into it the next time I order something. I know they won't have the collection I"m looking for now, just to see what they do have.
I've seen quite a lot of beautiful things, even jewelry. Ruby is my birthston as well.
It's alredy worth a bit.

He has tried to sell it at community garage sales, and at one point he was going to will it to me. I love red. My sister likes the ruby red glass by Libby.

I just looked it up, I've thought I've seen some by Libby before but wasn't sure. the two glasses I saw were cute, in an elegant way. I didn't like there simplicity. Red is one of my favorite colors as well, and I think it'd be a nice thing to gift you in his will.

I don't know if it is also available here in my country, I've been a Avon lady before, but nit active now. It sounds it is very nice, I will try to visit their store near in my place if they already had that glass.

These have been discontinued years ago. I am not sure of how long they ran, I've seen some dated from the late 1800's, and some as early as 1976? something like that. You'll have to go online to search for them.

Those are beautiful glasses. I am not sure what my mother did with her collection. I wishI knew someone who sells Avon because I miss some of their other products such as their bubble bath and their deodorant. I am not sure where else to look for those glasses. I wonder if a pawn shop would have them.

They may and there are many around but I'd much rather stick with online myself. Ebay has plenty of them, and someone also directed me to check etsy as well. You can buy avon online now.

I totally forgot about etsy, I'll look there as well. I plan to also collect some other things, but first things first is the avon. I want to get them in excellent condition of course and keep them that way, get a display case and a place to store the stuff and change it out every season.
