i went to rate someone's discussion as positive. this is because i really liked it. only i made a mistake and hit a "report abuse button". it was too late before i realized what was going on. so, there was a drop down box so that you can comment on why you thought the topic was abusive. i put that i made a mistake and meant to give a high rating to the poster. i also ask them to disregard. i fouled really bad. i hope i remedied this. i hope the poster doesn't get flagged because of this. i hope i have done the right time in enough time. sigh. i am worried.

If you hit a button by mistake, you can rectify by hitting the "back" button and you will go back to the previous page. However as you wrote about the mistake that you made I doubt anything will happen.
Even when we report, it is then admin who decides what action to take and just reporting through that button does not always mean that there will be a deletion.

Let's hope that is true, seems to be a lot of work to be administrator and check it all out. Good to know it's possible to rectify it, although I doubt it works that way. Is that somewhere written down it does?

Reports are just that, reports. Admin does the deleting, not the users.

Don't worry dear friend.Your intentions were good.and you did the right thing by putting the message to delete your reporting.So don't worry.mistakes are obvious.but take extreme care in the future.Because if you repeat the same it will affect your reputation.Enjoy here.be nice to everyone.Happy mylotting

"Report abuse button"? I also did the mistake from the past, but what I did I cancel it with the use of back button or x and that is what I remember rather than writing a comment in a drop down box menu of a "report abuse button". Just relax, maybe they read it even though I did not know if it is already fix.

Hi friend,
Don't worry sometimes it happend by mistake. But make it lesson not to do again because if it happened again it is intentional. So as other said and advice just deleting the discussion not the account.. cheers and see you around

Yeah I don't think anything will happen. As you did write about it and explain what happened. Don't sweat too much over it. I'm sure it will be fine.

I wouldn't worry. You made a mistake and you have done what you can to rectify it. I haven't gotten much feed back even from GoAskAlice so I really don't have much positive input here. I doubt there will be anything come of it. THey give you a drop down option just like anywhere else on the net so you have a chance to back out. Sorta like the pill.

Happily there is a drop down box there.Maybe mylot administrator designed it for preventing someone from wrongly hitting .I think it is better to arrange them three -positive,negative,report abuse-vertically(a column of) .
