My pilgrimage, gifts and Fathers’ Day

During pilgrimage, I had bought. ‘Prasad’ in the temple and gift articles like sari, dresses, jewelry made from conch shells at Puri sea beach. As per our tradition when we return from pilgrimage our close relations receive us with coconut and new cloth and we give them gifts and ‘prasad’; offerings made in the temples. [b]My wife has distributed them here; I will send them tomorrow Monday to my friends abroad; who give me regard as father as Father’s Day gift. [/b] [b]Any such tradition there?
