Democrats are saying they don't want to give a tax cut to the very wealthy. When is it giving people a tax cut by not raising their taxes? They keep saying they want to give a tax cut to the middle class and not the wealthy. But in reality the Middle Class is not getting a tax cut but rather they won't raise taxes on the middle class. So no tax increase means a tax cut. I will go on a diet by not eating more?

To answer your first question, it's giving people a tax cut by not raising their taxes when existing law says the taxes will automatically revert back to what they were before the cut. Those who don't like this idea really need to take it up with the members of the House and Senate for writing and passing the law that way and former President Bush for signing it into law.
Also, in reality the Republicans want to give the wealthy an additional tax cut, in addition to the ones that are about to expire and they want to increase taxes on lower income earners along with cutting many of the services they depend on to survive.

Easy, you will give yourself a headache trying to follow that logic.
As far as the Bush tax cuts go, expect a ruling at 11:59 on December 31st.

Actually tax increases are already built in for everyone unless something is done to stop them. The Bush tax cuts expire at the end of this year which means a tax increase for many in the middle class as well as the rich. There are middle class investors, too, and they will be affected more by it. Also, there are tax increases built into Obamacare; so if it is not overturned by the Supreme court, than those will take places. One of those for example would raise the percentage of income from 7.5% to 10% for where medical expenses can be deducted; this starts in 2013.

Because the Bush tax cuts should have been repealed as soon as the economy started to get better. But, that didn't happen. What they want to do is continue the tax cuts for the middle class, and eliminate the NO BILLIONAIRE LEFT BEHIND cuts that Bush approved.
