A birthday post!!!

Three wishes when I blew my birthday candle. It´s just one now because I will not use the small amount of lungs I have left blowing a cake full of candles. I asked for health first, and it seems it´s working. That darn lymphome is in remission. Right now, my oncologist says that I could die of anything before that. I don´t want to die of anything yet, so I´m going to the next two wishes: love and money. I had an awesome birthday with the nearest family and they even gave me some money I was not expecting. So I bought tickets for 2 weeks of sun at the Caribbean
. This coming Saturday I have my friends over. I did not want to mix friends with family (some too old and ome too young) so that this I going to be a sort of "I´m fine" party. Many people have been worried for me, many friends have helped me beyond expectations. It´s time for fun.

Thank you, friend. As soon as my party is over ( I`m having a party with friends this SAturday evening), I`ll start thinking about what will I take to my vacations.

That`s a good idea! In fact, I will not need too many clothes there as it`s Summer. I already checked that I have all the meds and pills I`ll need. The rest is easy.

Well, happy birthday!!! I hope you have many more!!! I wish I didn't have to wait until January for my next birthday wishes! I think I will be happy just living one more day for the time being. I wound up in the hospital again, but it isn't all bad. I will tell more in a separate post. I would love to be able to go to the Caribbean! I hope that goes well for you! Have a great week!!!

This has been one big pain in the a$$ for me! I have been in the hospital since Monday after being sick since at least Friday. I'm sure the pain started because of the neulasta shot, but after I got here, I found out I had a UTI and blood clots in my lungs so I am on antibiotics and blood thinners to take care of those problems. At least the CA125 is down to 40 which is almost normal range. I will do a search to see how much a trip to the Caribbean might cost and see if it is a possibility. But my brother really wants me to go to Thailand for medical tourism. Talk to you later.

I love the idea of Thailand, but those places are way too far for me to go. My indian friends here talk to me about ayurveda medicine, but India is in the other side of the world. Probably those blood clots are not as bad as cancer and they can be handled easily. Don`t forget that CT scan exagerate everything you have.

Dear Deb,
When the doctors give you a couplee of weeks off, let`s do something like I`m doing now. I know that I`ll have more health issues to take care of when I`m back (I think my colon problems will not get solved before I go), but I need some fun and my oncologist said it was ok for me to go. The trip to the Caribbean is not so expensive from the US if you shop well and we can manage with the rest.

Thank you very much for your wishes, JO. I had a lovely birthday and now I will have a wonderful birthday party this coming Saturday. I want to thank all the friends that have helped me while I had my chemo so I though a good party was the best way.

Yes, louie, friend. I am a lucky person with so many friends helping me and praying for me. I am absolutly sure that it makes all the difference. Thanks for your prayers and help. I wish you could come to the birthday party I will have next Saturday with my best friends.
