I just got an email about a new device produced to get rid of bed bugs. I have been having weird dreams ever since I responded to a discussion about the little parasites about a month ago. I wake myself up because I think I have them on me. Ugh! So I wanted to share this link with everyone: http://www.smarterhouseholds.com/2/adc.php?sub=453462&misc2=416102990&misc3=

I read on yahoo or MSN, that bed bugs are the worse in NJ on the east coast, though in Ohio there are some cases. I don't really know if that device would work, it looks like other devices that is suppose to keep other pests away and it doesn't work. But this might be different, I don't know..If there is a review for this product, that would be one way I would research to see how other customers like it.

People should be aware of the stats as well as the symptoms.

bed bugs are NO joke. when i was younger i always heard "dont let the bed bugs bite" and i thought it was a myth until just recently did i find out they were real. my neighbor got bed bugs from some where and then i ended up with them not sure if. it took her way longer to get them because she had them longer and in every room but i only had them in 2 rooms. i seriously couldnt sleep at night. i still wake up looking around me to see if i have them. i would never break out when they bite me but my kids had the bites all over. thank you for the link. i read up on bed bugs a long time ago but that link had things that even i didnt know.

I couldn't sleep at night when my cousin told that earwigs crawled in your ears and ate your brain. Ugh! Bed bugs never bothered me until over the last few years. One was crawling on me or I thought I saw one. Now that bothers me!

Hi... I'm not able to view the link right now, as I'm using my cell phone. But it appears from what you've written, that you've had a deep impact of this e mail. Probably, you should seek help from a friend, or maybe your family members. The issue appears negligible for careless folks likes us. But from what you've written, I can understand that it made a bad effect on you. Please seek help if you are very disturbed. Such things should be fixed immediately.... Take care....

Hi... I'm glad that there is no negative effect on you. I thought it was so, because you wrote about the dreams and moreover, you wrote you feel them all over your body in your dreams. That made me think that it was some awful effect. I've had such bad experiences in the past. So I just wanted to give a good suggestion.... :-) Have a Good Day!!!

My dad had a friend whose house had bed bugs (his wife who had been in the hospital constantly, tracked them from the hospital to their home). Every time my dad went over there, when he'd come home he told me stripped down of all his clothes and put them in the washer. He got so paranoid he bought a bed bug trap just to make sure he didn't have them at his house. And he didn't.

They said they did, but I don't know. I have been to the hospital in question. It's the worst hospital I've ever been to, and I hope I never have to go again.

I got a mattress from someone a couple of years ago and ended up with a bed bug problem luckily I caught it quick as it did not have a chance to spread to other rooms but what a hard time we had getting rid of them! nice to know there is finally a product that might actually work! thanks for the link. I am much more careful now about second hand furnature as bed bugs are an increasing problem!

They sure are an increasing problem. Sorry to hear you had problems. It is smart to be watchful when buying second hand stuff. Hard to find the little buggers at times.

We have been very lucky in that we've never had to deal with bedbugs in our house. However, it was just a couple weeks ago that there was a major bedbug scare at one of the jails that is close to here. Just the fact that I'd stepped inside the jail to take some money to someone that I knew that was there was enough to keep me itching for days. There really needs to be a way that they can be erradicated.

I wonder how they are passed from place to place. On clothing, sheets, etc. I guess.

This disturbing! I know bed bugs have become a big problem! It is bigger then I realized! One reason I heard is because we humans travel more then we used to and we bring alot of those bugs with us. I never had problems with bed bugs. I hope I never will! It is bad enough knowing bed sheets have mites in them and bite us when we sweat! Yikes!

That's true. That is how epidimics are started too. I have never had beg bugs and hope I never do. Makes a person want to change mattresses and sheets every day.
