Good day to you, Professor2010 Thank you for posting in my discussion. (^_^ ) So upon reading the article in the link that I provided, in your own opinion, which one would be ideal for a professor who already has a teaching career considering that teaching would often require a good amount of time in preparing lessons and teaching classes to students? Of course, it is not such a bad idea to have another source of income aside from the career itself, right?

That is indeed very nice, you already have alternate sources of income, aside from the pension that you get from your government. But if you can just entertain me with an opinion regarding the question I asked, which among the ten would a person with a teaching profession consider in having as another source of income? But if you really don't want to answer that question, that's okay as well (^_^ )

Hello ratyz, I think food is a good Business Idea but unfortunately you will have to consider franchise. because most new unique business had been unsuccessful in the Long run. you should check the area and what the people want in that area. but you have to consider the environment if it's safe or full with criminals. you never know what can happen.

Mang Inasal - Edgar Sia II engaged in business at twenty years of age. He opened the first branch in December 2003 at the Robinson's Mall Carpark-Iloilo. The restaurant was instantly successful that it spread throughout most of the Visayas, to Mindanao, and then Metro Manila. It applied for franchise a couple of years later.
Hello LetranKnight25 Thanks for posting in my discussion (^_^ ) I see that you considered numbers 7 and 8 on the ten business ideas one can do in the Philippines. Have you experienced getting a franchise that was new and unique that didn't work in the long run 'cause you didn't check the area in which your target market must be abundant? Any businesses would go well if it had a unique spin on it. Since you mentioned food, let us consider an example like Mang Inasal, an already known establishment in the country. If Edgar Sia II just accepted the fact that there is already Jollibee, Mc Donalds, KFC and so on with the other establishments that cater food services, he wouldn't have pushed on with his Mang Inasal, yet he simply went along with the unique spin which made his business go very well, unlimited rice. Checking the area where you want to place your business isn't as hard as it may seem. You can even get assistance from companies who would provide you with possible areas that you can place your business. These companies would have people surveying areas, checking how much traffic of people come and go and also go to local police stations, where you are considering to start your business, and ask the officers the crime rate they experience in the area. Actually, we would already have an idea of what would happen if we get to know the place where we are considering to place our business so it is quite worth it to know. ('_^ )
