Live life standing up straight - You've gotta live life standing up straight and look right at the sun. A quote from my favorite anime, Gintama. It always me taught valueble lessons in life.

are you one of those people who are always thinking positive and relax? How'd you say so? I admit i'am one of those. Let me share my story for what happened to me this day. First me and my friends went to a computer game tournament (LAN) (i don't wanna tell what game), we expected that we are going to be late and one more problem is that we still lack one member but when we arrived at the place it's still closed (some are late since most of my teammates are far from the place), we thought that it is cancelled and laughed about it(most of us delivered jokes, just nevermind what are those :P ). We waited for so long, we reached the finals and lost (but it's a close fight though, too bad it is only a single elimination). We almost reached the top, some of us are regretting what happened. For me, i only regret it for a couple of minutes since nothing will change but i know that me, with my friends learn new things. Instead of being sad i just smile after the tournament to lessen the negative emotions around (haha). We all spent a lot of money since we are far from that place (including the registration fee) but in the end, i do realize that the best part is that we share the spirit of friendship. Be a loser or be a winner, it doesn't matter as long as there are people who will support you in moving forward. I thought that this is not my day (more things happen to me when i'am going home) but in the end looks like i'am not so unlucky despite of what happened. I went home safely, ate my favorite food, and i won at neobux. For you i have a question, I don't know if i'am still doing the right things, since i'am always relaxed (but there are time's that i get serious which depends upon the situation) and always motivated to keep going in my journey in life, Is it okay to continue what am i doing? ( i only ask this since i rarely see someone that is similar to me, but i guess we are all different). Sorry for making you read all the way here.

I wish I can be like you that will always think positive about anything. Its hrad for me to not gt influence by something bad/ negative moments that I have been through. It takes long time for me to manage my soul to be calm and think positive. Sometimes I need some1 to knock my head :D

You can also do it, it's just a matter of training yourself. In my case before, if there's a negative situation, I always try to remember funny things and thinking that nothing will happen if I let the situation control myself. In this way you can relax.

hi bLadeee First, let us know what you think of being Positive. Because I never think that being positive means you would always win. Winning and losing are a part of life. Being positive only gives you some methods to try and convert the losing factors into your favor to win. Again, no guarantee. See, if I were in your stand, I would have learnt a few things already - In a game, one has to win and the other has to lose. And losing nowhere implies that you are a failure. It is just that your luck and your efforts werent upto what your opponent had that day. I would suggest that you do analyze the reasons (I feel somewhere you are a gaming person, sorry, please dont take these otherwise, as I too was your kind a few years back - I spent 48 hours non stop playing Diabolo and even Project IGI in a cafe on the LAN).

For me, being positive is being to accept your choices in life. Actually the whole point of the discussion is not really about the game, hope you won't misunderstand. Don't worry, when i play i don't really care if we win or lose, they are the same in some way which will give you lesson. I don't really believe in luck, if you win it's not because you're enemy is weak and it's not because you're strong but it is because the determination you gave. To be honest, i'am not the one who play a game for a whole day, i always manage my time and just like i said i'am not afraid of losing and do not regret what happened which is explain in my main post.

I think that it is all a matter of perspective. You can’t always choose the things that happen, but you can choose how to look at the things that happen. In your situation there would be two different ways of looking at the situation. If you look at it from a negative point of view, you might think: “We lost, and the day was a waste of time and a waste of money” and if you look at it from a positive point of view, you might think: “Yes, we lost, but I enjoyed the tournament and I had a nice day with my friends and that is more important than winning the tournament” It sounds like you chosen the positive perspective and I think that is great. If you always find something positive to focus on you will happier than people who focus on the negative things, so make sure to keep your positive perspective!

For a game tournament, we either lose or win, there is no big deal about it. For some people, it might seems to be a such big deal. If they win, they give it a big smiley face, if they lose, they mad about it. I mean, come on, game is game. For reality, the real life too. We either win or lose. If we lose, they don't need to get mad about it, or smash things to express our anger. We might motivate ourselves, and learn this as a valuable lesson. Try your best next time.

Thank you for your response, but the game is not really a big deal to me. I always do my best so i won't have any regret for what will happen to the outcome.

hi bLadeee! I think I can relate to you with that of being a positive thinker. I always do that too. I always attract positive energy to come my way. And for me, it's pretty much effective. Although there are times when I cannot get what I always want, and it is just fine with me for I know that in this life we can't get everything we want. After that, I just continue being positive and live life with no stress even if a lot of stress surrounding me.
