Unions?

How do you guys feel about Unions when half the work place is not Union and half is? Do you think it is fair half the company can go on strike and the non union workers have to pick up their duties? Do you think it is good for a business to have half and half?

Unions help to make a work place safer and more respectful for the workers. I went through a stirike with At&T. I was a member of CWA or Communication Workers of America. It just lasted afew days. Thank goodness. I am not sure whether it is good to have half and half or not. The stronger a unit is the better.
