How do I do this on the Wii?

I have an American Wii console and I'd like to play a Japanese game on it.. is this possible? Is there anyway I can make this possible.. and if so, how?

I'm pretty sure that there are region codes on the disc and console that prohibit this... I know that this tends to be the case for other systems and media players... Sorry!

i think that you are right i dont think you can play Japanese games on a US console because they are not compatiable

There is some ways to soft mod or hard mod your wii should that it could play both version PAL and NTSC games. To be exact you need find a way to install homebrew and apps like Gecko into your wii. Try the website wiihack to read up on how to determine your model and the suitable way to modify it. If you do not understand, just post up in the wiihack forum and the friendly admins would help you out in no time and i hope this helps.

i dont think you can the Japanese games are made for the japanese consoles so really you need to buy the US version if you can.
