It was tough to get upset with her...

I went in the bathroom for a minute and when I came out my youngest daughter (3 yrs old) got my nail polish that was in my room on my night table. I was angry and I said what are you doing with my polish? I didn't yell but I was stern with her. She burst into tears and said I just wanted to paint my nails to look pretty for daddy! Ugh, I just told her to never touch it again. It was just so cute and innocent. Have your kids ever said something so cute like that even though they did something wrong? Was it harder to discipline? Lol, kids sometimes say the cutest things.

I am mother myself and when my son was little, he does things that made me upset but when he reasoned out with tears streaming and stared at me with an innocent look, it just makes my heart melt.

I am not a parent yet but I do have niece and nephews, which are just cute kids. They do say the cutest and funniest things. I guess it is really hard to get all mad or upset at them when you hear them talk, see them smile or cry, or even when they just look at you with those cute eyes and expression in their eyes, which is mostly innocence.

I think my daughter and my grandkids have all done that at one time or another. I can't remember any specific moment right now. So innocent and sweet. Enjoy it cause it changes after awhile. It is harder to discipline but you kno0w it has to be done. Some times its hard to be a parent because of times like this.

Yeah, it was just so cute. I really could not get too mad at her for that one. And she ONLY painted her nails which surprised me! Lol. It was so innocent and sweet. I wish I took a pic of her cute face when she said it with her bottom lip pouted out. Adorable!

Kids are so cute and they say the darndest things at times. I would not have been able to get mad at her either. Several years ago when my sister and my niece were visiting my house. My niece went into my bathroom to use the potty and stayed a little bit longer than she should have. When we checked on her she had gotten into my make up bag. She finger painted liquid foundation all over my cabinets and even spilled some on the carpet. I only laughed. I could not help it. Her excuse was that she was indeed finger painting. I laughed so hard and my sister was so mad. She was going to punish my niece and I stopped her. Of course she told me that I had gotten soft in my old age. She told me that if it had been years earlier and my children had been involved I would have gave them a whipping. She is possibly right but by that time I had really gone soft. LOL it is still a funny memory.

They are. My daughter surprised me with that one which made it so much cuter. =) Oh goodness I bet your sister was so mad. I know mine would have been too if I laughed at that one. Lol. My sister gets so mad at me at times when I feel bad if my sis has been too harsh on her kids. I know they are her children and not mine, it just breaks my heart to see them sad, I cannot help it.

Kids are the ones who are really innocent and used to burst out or just to smile at the situations. I have seen the innocence and the smile in my little cousins. Once I and my little cousins were playing together. By the time I got a call from a friend and I was out for a while. By the time my cousins made use of the comb, power and other items which were lying in the table. They just made use of them and finally they looked like jokers. When I was back to the room, the things I was seeing is the kids are bathed in powered, lips stick and other items. I really scolded them and at last I asked them why you did this. Their answer was really simple. I need to look beautiful. This made me to put a smile on myself. This really showed their innocence. I hugged them with a lot of kiss on their cheeks. I love them a lot

Yes kids are too funny sometimes! They see us doing things and just want to be like us. How could we get mad at things like that? :)

My little granddaughter is always coming up with something too and sometimes I have to step out of the room. It's very hard to dicipline her like you said when she is so serious and says something so funny!

Yes it is. I have had to leave a room before too because of something my kids have said. The look on her face, man I wish I had a camera. Just so cute and innocent! =)

Of course its hard to discipline an innocent child for doing what she has seen her Mom do countless times. Children learn by watching their parents, and to be disciplined for this is devastating for the child. Should a caring Mom be angry when she was totally at fault, for leaving this nail polish where the child would surely find it?

The old child I had is 22 and was giving up for adoption. I never had any other children and never did wanted anymore. Yes children say the darnest things! My oldest nephew (my sister's child) was 4 when his brother came along. My nephew Austin, told his parents to take his brother back to the hospital because he wanted a sister instead! My younger brother has a son Danny who told his parents when his little sister was a baby she was broken because she cried so much! Some babies are more fussy then others but anyway Dan wanted Randi to taken back to the hospital to be fixed! Dan was also 4 at the time!So yes Childen do say the cutest things!

Hi friend, this kind of activities are quite common with kids. I have two little sons. My youngest son is 3 years old, he is very naughty boy and always giving severe head ache to us with his activities. While trying to discipline him, he will tell some cutest words with his nice voice and we forget about other things while listening his words
