You came here alone, totally nude with closed fist, you will go to the creator with fist wide open, as if you are declaring, see I am not carrying any this from here
.
Your mother says, this body of yours is hers’, she kept you in her womb for 9 months;
your father says, it is his; if he were not there, no question of giving birth ; your
wife says , it is hers’, after marriage she left her parents, brothers, sisters and is with you
.
When you die, you are buried or burnt, your body goes to earth, so earth says; you are hers’.
So friends, our body belong to whom?
Coming here with closed fists but going back with open fists, signify what?
Please share your views and comment on this.
Thanks in advance.

suzzy:
yes. you are right. But even when one does everything rightly after a lapse of time --say after 60 years for a few and say after 70/80 years for a few the body loses its capacity to maintain itself and gets a natural end. we have to accept it as it is.

This is the the reality of our life. Really there is particular answer for this question. I think that there might me a good reason with god for this.

My belief is that our body actually belongs to no one except to ourselves during the time that we are lucky enough to spend on earth. However, even during that time, I do think that our body is actually a vessel of God.
As humans we are born with a free spirit and for that reason we are able to make decisions about what we do with our bodies and in making those choices, we are able to do things that aren't always right.

My mother always says (and still says) . . . we are born alone and we die alone. I've always thought this interesting and true . . . but upon reading your interpretation, I see it another way too. We belong to those who care about us - although perhaps not necessarily just our physical bodies. So in essence, physically we born and die alone . . . but certainly we are not "alone". Hmmm, I need to ponder this. Very interesting, Professor!
