new undergarments wardrobe

I have lost the low end of my weight loss range, and only have about 5 more pounds/a few more inches to lose to get to where I really want to be.
I was going through and cleaning out closets and such and realized that all of my bras and panties are old, most are not fitting well, and NONE of them match.
I am going to reward all of my hard work with new undergarments.
Has anyone else done this? Did you give yourself a different reward?

Oh yes indeed. I love to buy the matching bra and panties sets. When I was making really good money I would go clothes shopping every week. I would always get a few outfits with all of the accessories... jewelry, purse, shoes and of course a matching set of bra and panties that matched the primary color of the outfit! Those were the good ole days! I still buy sets but it is not every week now. Congrats on the weight loss. I really need to lose some myself.

I have never been a big shopper. I go in with a list, and get out as soon as possible, even when I was younger this was my habit.
Right now money is not the problem, it is the finding time, without my 3 year old with, to actually get sized correctly and see what i like.

Good for you! I have recently lost 40 pounds and hoping to lose 10 or 15 more! I am constantly rewarding myself with new outfits that make me feel good about myself because it keeps me going and motivated in my weight loss journey. Once I lose the last 15 pounds I plan on treating myself to a shopping spree for a whole new wardrobe and I am excited for that day. I have been saving money just for my shopping trip

Congratulations on the hard work. I can only presume that it was not easy at all. Anyway, you do deserve that reward and I think you need it anyway.
Well, I haven't rewarded myself for a long time now because I'm low on cash and I have no great reason yet to.

I honestly love to buy new underwear, but I don't buy new bras regularly, nor do I buy new socks. My thing is underwear, and I have plenty of them! I have pairs that I've had for years that should just be thrown out but that I am holding onto until they are rags.
When I've lost weight, I've bought myself a new shirt or pants as a reward as well as to show off my new figure.

I have bought pieces as i have needed them as i have lost weight, also since I have had my child things shifted and do not fit the same as they used to.
In college I always had matching sets of bras and panties. Then as I got married and my life style changed, I had to put that money elsewhere so I started buying the packages of Hanes or Fruit of the Loom, whatever was cheapest. I have already started looking, but cannot fathom the prices at Victoria Secret's.
I will just have to settle for sets at Target, Sears, JC PENNY, or one of those.

found a few decent sets of bras and panties in my price range. Victoria Secret is not my price range unless i have a gift card.
It has been mostly small diet changes that have been the biggest help. If summer was not ungodly hot this year, I would have worked off a bit more running around outside.

I'm happy to hear that you have succeeded in your efforts to lost some unwanted weights. And the price for it, is getting newer things to fit for the newer you. And one of the things that should be considered are undergarments. Whenever my wife decides to buy her undergarments she prefers to buy in two's, one is for spare. Anyway she could do that because she always maintains her figure and her weight.

I normally just fluctuate a few pounds staying in a certain range. This past year got really hectic. I started a new teaching job with more demands, and a new curriculum to learn. The end of the school year was extremely stressful, and I fell back to my high school and college habits, of living off of caffeine and fast food, or quick easy meals which tend to be high in carbs.
I ended up socking on 20 pounds. It fell off pretty quickly, but it was time for an update. I found a style I liked and bought several of each color to keep in the house, especially for when I fall behind on laundry.

Oh I do all the time!
But recently I haven't rewarded myself with pampering since I'm busy at home but I'll do it at the end of the month. Hopefully fingers crossed!!!
I hope I get to lose some weight too before I buy a new wardrobe so that it'll fit me good.

Sometimes I will go without buying any underwear for a long time and then one day I will get a bee in my bonnet and I will throw most of them away because they are too old. This gives me a good excuse to go on an underwear shopping spree. :) I like my bras and panties to match so when I do buy underwear I always buy them in sets.
Another way I reward myself, especially if I feel I have been working too hard is to book a few appointments at a beauty salon for facials, pedicures, and if I have been working extra hard, a massage.
