Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise said that he was "blindsided" by Katie Holmes filing from divorce. Although I know that this is celebrity gossip news, I can't help but get a little peeved at him. Did he really think that she was happy? When I look at Cruise and look at what he says when he states interviews...he always makes matters sound like they are from a child's primer? I am starting to see that this was coming. Look at him...he thought that everything was okay, and apparently, the way that Holmes file for the divorce, it isn't!!!!
My question is...have you ever been a situation like this where you thought that you were happy in a relationship or the other person was...and they all of the sudden break up with you? Did they ever explain why they did it?

I've never been in a situation where I didn't see a breakup coming. I think Tom Cruise is just saying this because it's the "safe" answer, if he had given any more detail than that, then he might've been expected to give more of an explanation which is probably not something he wanted to make public.

I totally agree. I'm sure he saw it coming. There is just something about it that annoys me at times. I think it started when he was jumping on Oprah's couch! 15 yrs ago or so I had been dating a guy for several months and everything was great.. so I thought. I figured out it wasn't when one day he just literally disappeared! No phone call, no note, no carrier pigeon with a note! LOL A few years ago, I ran into him and he has a crappy marriage with 4 kids. It felt great to tell him that I had a awesome husband and family... Anyway, that's my story... I think celebrity marriages are hard anyway because of the lack of privacy...
