Have you vomited because you are overly full?

Hi there mylotters, Never could I imagine that I would experience such. And it was indeed a FIRST for me. We had a girls hang out with my two other friends. And after going to the mall, we realized that we were so hungry so we went to a fastfood nearby. We actually plan to have a full pack dinner since we haven't eaten our lunch that day. Anyways, because of being too hungry, I indeed ate A LOT...and terribly regretted it since after eating, I felt dizzy and just couldn't breath...and I couldn't stop myself from vomiting in the sidewalk while walking on our way home. It was dark and there are only few people in that place so I think I wasn't noticeable but it was indeed shameful. A lesson learned for me...to not eat too much anymore. Have you experienced this?? Or you are just so good in controlling your appetite?? I do hope I am good with controlling. Anyways, Happy Mylotting! _Joanna Lee_

That will be an embarassing experience if it happens to be on a daytime. Good for you if no one notices you because they will think that you are drunk if someone sees you. Anyways, I haven't experience this though, but my son (2 years old)used to do this. after eating he still wants to drink his milk before goign to sleep. When he burp, instead of only air, he vomits too.

Hi there Asdomencil, My friends actually teased me about that...that people might thing I was drunk..and most especially that's at night. Well, I do think those few people who saw me think that way. Well, lesson learned for me..and you need to let your son practice that self control. Happy Mylotting!

I have experienced that situation once in the past. Some of friends and I were having dinner in a Chinese restaurant. My friend knew the owner of the restaurant and when we had eaten the main dish (lots of food) the owner decided to surprice us with a free dessert. I was already full, but the dessert looked so good so I ate it anyway It tasted really good, but when I arrived in my home I realized that I shouldn't have eaten all of it because I was feeling really bad and I vomitted. I think that is the only time that I have eaten so much that it made me sick, but it can be tempting to eat too much sometimes especially if I visit one of the international restaurants that I love.

Indeed a lesson for us. We need to be cautious to ourselves and avoid to much eating and making ourselves full. With that experienced, I've been very cautious to not be overly full. I don't want it to happen to me again.... Have a great day!!!

I haven't had that happen in years. That happened to me a few times as a teenager. I was so hungry that I ate and ate, and when my full level was reached I was way over stuffed and eventually ended up getting sick.

And it's indeed a very bad feeling. And what makes it worst is that you feel really bloated... I promised myself not to eat that much again. I hope I will have that self control. Happy Mylotting, Sedel.

We really need to watch out what we eat as well. I do sometimes tend to vomit with other foods most especially if I don't know it (foreign foods) and I don't like the taste of that food. So, in order to avoid from vomiting, I would tend to choose what I eat... Happy Mylotting!

My son is this when he eat then drink milk after. Most of the times he wants to eat and at two maybe he don't know yet when he is that full so instead of just burping, he throw up. hehe

Hi there Shylade, I think too much of throwing up would lead to something...an illness. So, we should definitely have that self control towards our appetite. I think it is best to teach your son that way...

Hi, I actually had the same experience as you last week and it was my first time too. I had gone to a restaurant with my boyfriend for dinner. We waited outside for long as it was packed and when we got a chance to get inside, get ourselves seated and order the food, we were so hungry that we ordered two starter dishes, soup and main course followed by dessert. When I was into the main course I felt that I could not eat any more so I left a little fried rice on the plate as I was feeling up to the throat. When I came home, I felt very sick and though I tried to walk around, the overload did not seem to go. I finally vomited. After few minutes of this, I felt some relief and went to bed. I was okay the next morning but I promised myself never to overeat again. If I had thrown up in the restaurant, it would have been a great deal of embarrassment. I do hope both of us would be careful about this in future. Have a great day!

Good thing to me as well... That I did not throw up in the restaurant...but still I vomited at the side walk...and worst many people saw me. We should definitely not overeat and just eat moderately. A lesson for us. Happy mylotting!!!

Do you have stomach flu, or something else. For the best bet, you should check with the doctor to see what is going on if you don't feel right. I, won't eat too much if I knew that I already full. I won't force myself to take extra even though I love that food so much. Why not save for next time or something.

Hello there KingParker, Yeah, I should have think that way before going overly full. I just couldn't have that sense of control about my appetite and just ate those foods that really matches my taste. And I don't really know what it is because the moment I vomited, I felt slightly OK. But I did felt OK when I got home and went to bed.

Oh wow that has not happened to me. There have been times that I have felt sick from eating too much food and where I feel like I wasnt to vomit but I have never done so. That must of been a horrible feeling especially out in the street but it's better that it wasn't in the fast food place and at least it was dark so no one could really see :) I can usually control my self but ther eare times where the food tastes so good I want to keep eating it and I have to try stop myself :D

Hi there Babycheetah, That was indeed terrible...and I do hope nobody saw me...but I guess there were few who did see me like that. I looked horrible. And I hope I do have that same control as yours.
