hi guys, i just reach the minimum payout and my account now have $10.60. so far i think i have posted 430++ respond, and i don't ever remember how many discussion that i have started =) some people saying that they can simply make a $10 every month, but i am sure they are very active on mylot =) for me i spend a few month to make it since i am not always active here =) if you are active on mylot, i think you can simply make it as well. other than that, you can also make it by using the mylot search engine, sometimes they will reward you, and you also can do some task that is offer by other mylotters. this can increase your income in mylot =)

Just like in almost everything, this also requires patience. If you bother counting how much work needs to be done to reach $10, you might grow weary and impatient. There are computations, I believe, they're using. Not to mention certain considerations that may be too complicated for us to dig. Simply enjoy starting discussions and replying back to discussions started. Am sure you have worthwhile things to share. Welcome to the community!

I agree sharksfin I think that if you start to think or try to calculate how much work will give you how much money, you will not make anything. You will grow bored I think if you try to just look at it as a way to just make money, try doing like sharksfin said and enjoy conversations or starting them. You could also do like me and make sure to always rate them as well. I try to rate at least a few a day and spend at least a hour or so replying. I have been ill lately though so I have dropped off the site for quite some time but am back full swing. If you are looking for some good ways to make money though check out my profile and you can see what I do for cash and prizes too. Hope things go well for you and that you have a great time meeting new people here like I do:-) I really enjoy being on this site and chatting plus like you say too, just killing time.

Just have fun posting and starting discussions and the money will add up. It adds up slowly but hey it is easy money! I don't think there is a way on here to figure out how much money you can make hourly. It depends on quality posts and discussions and there is no "set" pay for how much you get each post

I sugest youread the rules and guidelines of the site. With that in mind, you will be able to earn more and also have more fun while you earn. For instance, you will not gain much by posting something if you don´t comment on the answers you get. What other mylotters write, even if it is answering your post, is money they earn because it is their work. So you will have to see what is easier for you to do at the beginning: create posts or answering what others post.

It purely depends on your participation if you are active you will reach it fast
but always remember we are paid more for the quality content so focus more on quality than quantity.Try to do some tasks,make referrals to reach to the payout more easily.

Participation is such an odd thing, I remember back in school getting a participation grade for how well/how much you participated in class. Seems as though this term is very open and subject to change, I almost wish they had it divided more as quality of posts and such. Thank you for the advice.

For Obsessive-Compulsive people who try to reach, say, a certain amount per day like $1 here, it won't be so much fun anymore. 
I admit I was like that in my first year here in myLot but now I am just looking for answers on some questions or clarifications I have in my head. If referrals were very active, then I believe that might get me to $10 quickly.
