If there was a free gift offer announced in a mall and you miss it but those around you are displaying their 'wealth' what would be your feelings. I would simply cry[em]cry[/em. Actually at the moment I am crying. I have missed it for good!

Hi allknowing, In life there are many buses that you will 'miss'. You should not fret over them and be sad or disappointed or worst be angry that you've missed a good deal. Just move on and be happy for others who have 'caught the bus'. One day you will also 'catch the bus' and perhaps it would a better deal than the one you have missed. Cheer up.

I know for sure one will never get this opportunity again and if hurdles were placed that makes it worse! Yes. I could not make it despite every effort I put in!

Hi All, of course i will feel very disappointed that i am unable to grab those offers. In fact, there had been a few times that i ever missed a few very good offers. Since i am living very far away from those shopping malls, than it is really hard for me to quick grab those offers. I just have to accept my loss and hope for the next offer to arrive. Although it does makes me feels very sad and wanted to cry but i always managed to hold back my tears.

I won't cry for something offered by a mall for free. If I could not get this one, maybe next time, I would have another chance of getting a free gift. In our local malls, they often give us some discounts, like buying one and sending one. It is also like sending us a free offer. So now you know why I don't cry over missing a free gift. lol. Thanks for the discussion.

I knew you have taken this literally. That was just an example I gave. There are things we miss in life and those opportunities never visit us again.

I would be disappointed but I wouldn't be too down and out. I have missed a bunch of buses and am just glad that I don't know exactly how many I missed. The good thing is there are always other buses around the corner, they are just scheduled a little differently.

But this particular 'mall' sent me messages repeatedly that nice things are waiting for me. I went there and each day I found it closed but I found out later that several had become rich and they had entry. I hope you know which 'mall' I am talking about!

?????/? I cannot understand head or tail of your topic; I don't believe you are a person to cry for the sake of such silly things and therefore I feel I have missed some point somewhere. Please elucidate. What was this 'gift' you a re talking about? Was the stock over or have I really missed your point? If you have really missed some free gift announced , then I suggest that you should go and have an ice cream immediately.Enjoy yourself! No one can take that from you.

I am sure you too would fret if it was not your fault that you missed that one time opportunity! Ice cream will not console me and that too at my cost!

Dont atach too much to things. Just relax and think that , that thing was not meant for you. If something is for you , somehow it will get to you . In my country we say: The Juan s things are not taken by Peter. What is for you, nobody will take it. Just let it go, dont suffer for little things.

If you received intimations from the mall giving you news that there is an 'Eldorado' waiting for you and when you get there the doors are closed each time you try while others get to walk in, even you would cry!

I love free stuff as much as the other guy, but I think it's silly to cry over something like that... especially as it isn't something you earned and lost, just a gift offer...

You also would cry if each time you tried to get in you were locked out. And when that happened for a few days, others did get an opportunity to get in and walked away with the goodies!!!
