How do you relax after a long day of hard work?

I like reading and would be happy to read anything, the newspaper, a magazine, a book, spiritual stuff etc. Sometimes logging into mylot and reading discussions through my mobile is also very relaxing even though I would not be able to reply much. And watching tv would also make me forget my worries. But I always relax and unwind only when I am with a book. Nothing beats reading books or magazines for me. How about the others?

Funny I ride a bus home and by the time I get home , I am already relaxed and ready for dinner and a good show on T.V. or a sporting event.

Wow. I have always loved road trips. It relaxes me because.... I don't drive! At my work , most of the issues are solved by the end of the day. So I'm free when I walk out the door. That can be the difference.

Maybe you get distracted by what happens around you? Even when I am in the bus, I keep thinking of problems or what happened that I would miss my stop if I am not attentive.

Now a days i am very much interested in writing and writing articles will give more refreshment to us. I will miss some thing if i don't write any article in a days, every day i am writing an average of 3 to 4 articles and getting relaxation with it

Hey VP. It is just wonderful. But do you have the time to write with two kids jumping up and down? Well, that is what mine do and I cannot sit in front of the system with these running around. Sorry, I have not done the registration yet with the article writing sites. I have to.

Nothing is more relaxing than reading a book. I don't mind reading an already read favourite book of mine too.Another thing that can give peace is to try some new pulli kolam in your note book.I love watching old classic movies in Tamil.

Naan pulli vachu kolam pottu romba masam achu aunty. I don't do it nowadays. I do read like how you said. Sometimes, I read the already read book again and again. Mostly, I do it with spiritual books and magazines where I find some quote or guidance which I can use in my life.

At the moment I work at night and when I return to my home in the morning I love to relax with a cup of coffee and a book, a magazine of the newspaper. When I work during the day I like to watch tv when I return to my home. Early in the morning there is nothing to watch so I prefer to read something instead. If I am very tired I go to bed after a quick cup of coffee and then I read in my bed for about an hour. If I am not very tired I sometimes choose to switch on the computer and spend some time online before I go to bed. That is also a great way to relax.

For me it's sleep..zzzzz(^^) The only thing that will make me me feel relax, forget everything, nothing to think is by sleeping. Nothing can compare than sleeping. I like reading so much but with reading it will make me go read on and on. it's hard to stop especially when I am reading my favorite books. So sleeping is the only solution for me to feel relax.(^^)

Hi. I do read but nowadays, if I read at nights, I am so tired that I nod off even with the book in my hand. It actually takes my mind off things which were troubling me. Yes, sometimes sleeping relaxes the mind too and things seem to have a little the next morning.

Doing myLot is one thing that relaxes me. When I came home from work, I would love to have time talking with my children. Just talking all about the day's activities would be enough.

As I do not work and stay at home with my children all day, I relax only by reading. And for the past few days, by posting in mylot. It really relaxes me and makes me forget what happened the whole day.

After working hard, the most convenient is ..... playing guitar and singing.

Singing at late nights? Would that be allowed where you live? But it is the most refreshing thing to do. I never thought of that before.

For me, reading spiritual books is an everyday past time. It is my connection to God and I do it atleast for a few minutes before I sleep. You are welcome dear.

relax while hearing songs and watching tv helps me to reduce the stress and will forget about the things happened on that day due to hard work and get a relaxed and tension free mindset.

Music is very calming on one's nerves. Yes, watching tv does take my mind off things for the time being.

After a very tiring day, I always make myself a fruit smoothie, with just about any fruit that's at home. But usually, I always have a choco-banana smoothie. While resting my feet up, I grab my tablet and either I read or I surf, watch some videos or chat with friends. Then off to shower, dinner and then continue reading. Just the feel of the smooth and thick and cold smoothie just hits the spot for me. :)

I used to have movie marathon at home. Talk with my friends, visit my old folks. Read novels, but I preferred true to life stories. Or getting in touch with old friends in social web site.

Wow, you have a lot of stuff to unwind. I either read or read. That is my only way out. Since my kids are very small, they need my attention all the time. So, even if I wanted to visit someone or hang out with my friends(who are all married and have kids of their own), I need to start doing the preparations way in advance.
