Okay, new scam just never ended. New criminal rings in Europe pretend to be part of Microsoft security branch personnel, and had somebody called their home from India, and explain the situation that their computer is infected with serious, and most vicious virus. They pre - installed the malware to their network, and tell them that they can clean up the virus within minutes. But the legal procedure is that they have charged them some money for the operation to be done. So, those residents who has no idea about this scam actually pay money to those criminals. So, such scam can be happen everywhere, and be watchful on it.

I know about this scam, because my mother has experienced it. Fortunately she had already been warned about it and when they called her she just hang up the phone. She knew about it because some of her co-workers also experienced it and they didn't know that it was a scam. Afterwards they told me mother that they had been scammed and warned her about the phonecalls. It is true that scam can happen everywhere. Some time ago there was anoher phone scam. I don't remember the details, but I think that they told the victim that he or she had won something.

Yes, it was very lucky. The scammers called several people from the same company, so the first co-workers who received that phonecall were able to warn the others. I don't know where they got the phonenumbers from, I imagine that they found them somewhere on the internet. It is true that we have to careful when we receive phonecalls from unknown people, because some of them have bad intentions

King, one of my friends ever received this type of phone call. It is lucky that she don't fall trap to them since they are asking for very high fees. They called her twice but she just ignored them the second time round. I really don't know what will happen to her if she really send the payment to them. Indeed, it is just too risky answer the phone nowadays. I still wonder where they got our phone number...

We also receive mails from criminals that pretended to be like of some coca-cola and other multinational companies and say that you have won some price of million or billion of dollars and then make some people fool through it.

I read this somewhere and one day they called a security consultant of some company stating that his system is infected and his system need to be done cleanup. So he allowed to use his system. They scanned through his system and found nothing interesting. When they came back in touch with him they said to him now your computer is malware free and you can use your computer safely. He then informed what he is working as they were scanning a virtual machine that he allowed them to use over the network.
