Why there are no original discussions on mylot

All topics are covered by lots of mylotter so original discussions with new topic which is not exist in mylot it is not possible. But while driving why you are using mobile this is danger for life. Really some time we forget old topics and start the same topics with different titles and contents.

Have you heard the saying" there is nothing new under the Sun"? Well after so many people and so much time it's more and more unusual to find an original thought much less a discussion. But we should keep trying.

Hi Dawn... It'd be a nice idea, if myLot has become life for us... ;-). I've had these moments when I used to use computer. I'd find great topics with various aspects to discuss. I'd come up with greaat imaginations & nice ideas. And I'd forget all about it when I got to the computer... Now, I use my cell phone for myLot and most of the internet activities. I use a Nokia C6. It's got slider and a computer like keyboard. I don't miss a lot of ideas now. I can write whenever and wherever I can... Go for a smartphone lady, it'll help a lot... :-)

I do know what you mean! I have something to tell folks and totally forget to post it when I'm at the computer (stupid games).

I think that the issue of red Porsches isimportant in this acquisitive and material world. Is it better to travel on four expensive wheels or the two legs that we were supplied with at birth? What do those that don't have two legs two? Do they travel by red Porsche always. But what if a red Porsche is not an option? Maybe it is unavailable or the price is too high for the would-be purchaser. We need the means of locomotion in order to get to a place where mylot can be engaged. Did you know that Casey Jones was a steaming' and a'rollin'.........

I'm definitely laughing out loud at the idea of banning walking or driving so that there would be more original discussions on here. For me, I try to keep a piece of paper and a pen close to me at all times. The reason that I do that is so I can jot down the ideas that I've had for a discussion on here or for an article that I would like to write on another site that I use. It would be great to be able to be connected all the time, but I think that would be something that truly would destroy humanity.

I think most probably you should write it down or message on the mobile when you get great ideas and this will help you not to forget it. I think most probably you can type some shortcut words of the ideas into the mobile or a small book that carry with you. I would suggest you to carry a small book with you so that you can type the content into it so that you can use it and type the discussion ideas when you come in front of the computer.

Na...we would all get fat and lazy if we did that....just keep a pen and paper handy to jot them down so we don't forget....

This would only help to save the uniqness of Mylot if we banned the walking and/or driving. I often think of some of my greatest ideas for Mylot discussions in those last few moments of the day when I am just about to go to sleep. And, like you, I am so sure I will remember it in the morning. NOT!!

I get ideas for discussions from all over the place! Work,my family,friends,my other job,what is going on my life and things in the news. Most of the time I remember to write down what discussions I want to start. I have a pan and pen in my car. I usually write something down while at a red light. When I am at home or at work I have a notebook and pens ready to write something down when an idea hits me. Rarely do I forget an idea for a discussion! That happens with other things!

Umm... have you no notebooks? No memo post-it notes? Write it down as soon as you can! If I think of a good discussion to start and I'm not on the computer, then I either remember it until I get to a computer or I write it down. But I don't think mylot is in much danger. I think we should ban the internet, and that way we'll save all our walking and driving from mylot!

What you need is a recorder either on your phone or separate recorder that way when you think of something you can just speak it and then when you get home and on mylot you can just play your recorder and remember all your thoughts. I seem to think of all sorts of things I need to do or want to say while I am in the shower which stinks because I can't have anything to write or record with. Somewhat I try to do is repeat it in my head until Incan get done and get downstairs to write it down. What I hate the most is when I think of something I need from the store and then I get out and can't remember it then I will go to the store still not remember then remember when i get back home.

hi, i think there are still original discussions here,in one thousand discussion i think there are 10 are original topics,maybe we find same topic here but for me they have different stories behind the topic or in discussion.like in responses,many of us have also own opinion because we have such different understanding in the topic.

Dear friend, Dawnald. You must know that even when I'm away from home, and therefore unable to connect to the web, I can think of several ideas that I might as well post on Mylot, such as discussions of quality. Unfortunately that also happens when I return, and I'm before the keyboard, I can not remember what I wanted to write. There was even a time that I went out with a notebook and I was marking the ideas can then be discussed here. The fact that now I am on vacation and are often on the beach, then to the PC, usually I am going to do in the evening. I understand that your situation is, more or less similar to mine.

I used to come up with these ideas for new discussions when I was in bed trying to sleep or at the gym, but by the time I got round to logging into Mylot and setting the discussion up I had forgotten the whole thread of what the discussion was going to be all about! I don't tend to do many discussions or be as active as I used to admittedly. Most if not all topics have been discussed, however you can ask a question or reword a discussionary topic. I usually look up the subject before I post to see if it has been discussed recently or not at all! If a discussion is over a year old, I think right time to refresh it and tackle it another way.

No I think every member should be sent a pad and pencil so you can write down your ideas!I walk around with a small pad and pencil so if I get an idea I can jot it down.

There´s nothing new under the sun. But I have been quite proud of myself with my posts about my vacations at St. Maarten. I even downloaded pictures.Maybe not too many people are interested in that, but I rather had fun.

Hi dawnald... I do think so. There is not single topic has left in mylot that has not discussed till that. So, better we need to rewrite/modify old topics to post or topics on day to day event of personal life. Have a nice time.

Hehe, Dawn, this discussion would have been better fit into PE category Yes, walking and driving should be banned forever under threat of heavy penalities, specially when one do walk and drive in same time. Yet it should also be legal to do walk on highway and drive in your backyard for about half an hour every 60 days, but only for those can prove they are unemployed and have eat only beans and cabbage for last 30 days. What? Original discussions ideas? Who needs'em? For new question here, to answer would require starting to THINK, brrrrrr, what a dangerous and awfull activity!! No, let's be good old ideas, which were checked already in time that get answers and not against the rules, such as "what ice crem flavour you prefer?" for example. So YES, ban the walking-driving NOW.

Ha ha! I am so there with you! I think of all these ideas for myLot and I tell myself I need to write them down so I don't forget - but - of course these ideas ultimately disappear. I can see the bumper stickers now . . . don't think and drive - ha ha!
