Sitting here with my wisdom teeth playing up makes me remember how my kids never had a filling and all three lost the last of their milk teeth in their late teens.I think it must have come from me as my first two kids were from my first marrage. My third child from my second marrage. The dentists used to be amazed at the condition of all my childrens teeth the first two used to love their sweets but my third child never really liked sweet things and never really ate sweets at all. They all brushed their teeth and drank lots of milk .Did your kids have good teeth or were they unlucky I am interested to find out.

My oldest son never had a filling till at 20 he went in the navy & they did all kind of crap to his teeth.. My youngest had to have silver caps on his teeth at the age of 2.They both took care of their teeth so u just never know how they will turn out.

My daughter has good teeth. She doesn't have any dentist insurance so doesn't go every six month like youre supposed to. She's 40. She just had a tooth pulled. They had to cut down in to get some of the nerve and it was a huge tooth. I only have about half my teeth left. I was never taught how to take care of my teeth and now I am paying the price. I want to have dentures instead of trying to pay the huge amount for a partial here and something else there. Dentures would do me fine but how do I pay for it?

That is awesome that your children have never had a cavity even into their teens. Not many people can say that. My husband never took care of his teeth and when we started dating he had to have a lot of cavities taken care of and root cabsks. It was an expensive lazy mistake on his part. My daughter is 8 and my son is 4. Neither has cavities. My son got his teeth cleaned today for the first time.

bless his heart having his teeth cleaned what a good boy.My youngest son never opened his mouth at the dentist till he was eight years old.Every six months for 7 years I took him .When he openned his mouth the dentist looked in his mouth and his teeth were perfect lucky or what. You often hear people bragging about never going to the dentist for 20 years my ex husband was like that. When he did go did he suffer.I thought there is some justice in the world.Don't think bad of me he was awful.Good on your kids though.Good diet and lots of milk that was my secret, brushing twice a day.Who knows if it made any difference at all.I like to think it was down to my love and care.

I do not have any children, yet, but have some experience from my past about teeth. My mom and dad has good teeth composition but no1 of their children do. I like sweets alot but hate milk. It's hard for me to brush teeth before sleep, it continuosly and as the result: I have some problem with my teeth. I had root canal 3 months ago, Im planning to wear braces. it will cost money and earn some pain but I will take it for my good.
