The holy month of Sravan is gone, on all the Mondays of this month, devotees of God Shiva carry water from ponds, streams and pour on Shiva Lingam.
Sometimes they walk several kilometers; one can also see devotees rolling on ground, while covering this distance.
On these Mondays one can see snakes in temples of God Shiva; seeing a snake is supposed to be auspicious for Hindus.
Seeing snakes in the act of copulation is supposed to be more auspicious; I was fortunate enough to see; see the picture.

May be it is our faith as Hindu.
Have you ever seen snakes in the act of copulation?
Please comment on this story and share your opinion.

Thanks in advance.

I have seen several time the copulation of snake. Snakes are believed as gods like ragu and kethu in indian families. Lot of stories about snakes and films show the importance of it.

You need not be afraid, they usually do no harm, unless you disturb them

hi professor,
many cultures have viewed snakes as important symbols of rebirth and eternal life.
this is because snakes shed their skins and appear to regenerate themselves. it is still used as a symbol of healing - you've probably seen the symbol of one or two snakes twisting around a pole - often with wings - at hospitals and doctors' offices. this image is based on a story in the Bible where Moses lifted up a snake on a pole, and everyone who looked at it was miraculously healed.
have a nice day.
