I work hard to save money, as I'm now working part time. We print coupons online at Target, as you can use an online coupon and a manufacture coupon for the same product. I find many times there are great deals at the store that aren't in the ads. Also I visit Albertson's and the recent ad had two coupons that you can double, which we used to buy cereal yesterday. The cereal ended up costing me less than any other store in town with a $5.00 coupon to use next time. Also the 5 boxes have codes to work on my next movie ticket need only 1 more code. My husband went to Ralph's and used .70 coupons, so we have finished another movie ticket. Do you use coupons? Have you been able to use 2 coupons for the same product?

I love it when I can combine a store coupon or sale with a manufactures coupons. I think that is the only way to make coupons really work for you. I used to be so dedicated to coupons but now I am leaning towards buying foods that arent on coupons very often. Like wheat for example, we buy our wheat whole and grind it at home. I can make bread for less then the stores can sell it for but better then that, I dont need to go into the store either which is huge.

Shopping in the stores less saves a lot of money. Most people end up buying at least 1 item that wasn't a planned purchase whether it be their child asking for stuff or their husband in my case. Thanks for posting.

What we do is collect all our money off coupons and use them all at once.We use Asda and we get a price check done a week after we have shopped by using the till receipt, we have saved loads of money yet again this week.My shopping bill should have been £150, but with all the coupons and price check we only had to pay £70.I was really happy, as the other money we can put to one side for something else.

That is great and its always good to set money aside, as you never know when you might have an emergency. I try to keep some money set aside for unexpected expenses like the new fan we need now. Our house is to hot and its expected to get hotter here. Thanks for the reply.

I seldom use coupons, as I don't always find the suitable coupons for me, or I don't know where to find those useful coupons locally. I do collect points from credit card or other cards, so that I can use the points to redeem something I need.

I have to save a lot of money as well, as we're hoping to be able to pay for a deposit on a house shortly and we're not going to be able to do this without getting a deposit together. I have almost managed to get enough for the deposit now, but I want to get a little bit more so that I know that the first few months are not going to be a struggle, because if I am trying to get a house ready then I am not going to be able to work for the same number of hours as I might have been able to otherwise, so it is going to be hard work but I know that I am going to be able to get there in the near future.

Good luck on getting your house. We bought a house last year and I used my coupon savings to help pay for our house. I'm so glad that people helped me by posting good deals, so I could save more at the grocery store. Thanks for posting and hope to see a post that you bought a house in the future.

Yes...it is possible to use two coupons for same product. I have done it. But in that case you need to have two account created in your name. But at a time for one transaction you can't use two coupons for a single product.

Actually, there is a big sign at the cash register of Target stating I can use two coupons at the same time for one product. Wish other stores would let me use two coupons. I don't see a lot of people do this, but they could save more money, if the item is on sale. Thanks for posting.

In our country, we don't have coupons. Sometimes the supermarket will hold activities, during the activities, some goods are cheaper than before, I will buy them at that time. I like that.

That is great to be able to save money on products by shopping during special activities. Our stores do have free giveaways of food products and I do try to shop when they are happening. Thanks for posting.

I do the same thing at Target and I have the Red Card (debit) for an additional 5% off. Where we are now Albertson's isn't the best deal in town. The don't double or triple coupons or have great sales like they did in TExas. I like Ralphs because they put their organic produce on clearance all the time and I stock up. They also have the best prince on the 25lb bag of carrots we buy every 2 weeks and I can use my card to earn points to use at the gas station for $.10 off a gallon.

Where I live it's only one coupon per product but I also like to go to the sites and get free samples I used to cut the coupons out of the paper but it seems like they don't have as many as they used to.

I agree about the lack of coupons in the paper. Some weeks the paper isn't worth buying now. The bad part is how short dated coupons are today. I miss the NED Coupons, as they really saved me 100's of dollars every week. Every week I try to find a few samples to try out, as the samples are great when I'm on vacation. They take up less room in my bag and several products are now regularly bought for my household. Thanks for posting.

Out in Nevada we have Vons and they have a special program called Just 4 U where they send you emails for extra savings. What is great that you do not need to cut out coupons, but rather just load the coupons you want to use and then at the end you give them your phone number and the savings come off. I find this very useful. I only load the coupons I know I will use. Out here none of the stores double coupons and in some stores they do not allow you to use online coupons. I love to save money when I can.

Southern California has the Just 4 U program also. Sadly, Vons just stopped doubling coupons and the prices at the store are higher then Target and K-mart in my area. K-mart is still doubling in my area or they were on the weekend sure hope its not leaving. I do load coupons on my Ralph's Card. I have had trouble with coupons printed online; specially, at the grocery stores, so I'm printing them the day I go to the store now. They are scanning easier. Thanks for posting.

Sometimes I use coupon to buy things, but I find out the there are many coupons have a few terms and can not be seen at the first time cause you may be neglected those very tiny sentences, sometimes you will find out that coupon will force you to buy many stuff which you do not need so much,so I think when we have some coupon in hand we should find out the good one and bad one.

I agree its important to read the fine print, as some coupons will end up costing you money. My favorite coupons are for free products, as that is how to really save money. Thanks for posting.
