Any fans out here? I've only read two books by Mr. Bradbury. One is a short story collection called The Painted(?) Man and the other one is a novel called Fahrenheit *something* (can't recall titles, must consult Google later) Anyhow, are there any Bradbury fans here? His books are amaaaaazing.

Fahrenheit 451. I had to read that book in 7th grade but I don't really remember much about it. Other than that, I haven't read any of his other books.

Did you mean "The Illustrated Man" and "Fahrenheit 451"? I read Fahrenheit 451 but I've never read The Illustrated Man. Bradbury is a good writer, but I can't say I'm a fan.

I've read a lot of Bradbury before I decided his books gave me nightmares. I quite upset several fen (the plural of fan) by saying that I didn't like his writing. I always added that he was a GREAT writer, an absolute poet with words, but that I didn't like WHAT he wrote. The Illustrated Man, Fahrenheit 451 (the temperature that paper burns) and The Martian Chronicles are all well known books by him, though the first and last often seemed stitched together short stories. The one story he wrote that I really liked was The Million Year Picnic.

I have read two collections of short stories written by Ray Bradbury. I don't remember the names of the books, but I liked both of them a lot. Last time I visited the library I borrowed some of the other books by Ray Bradbury. I didn't read them yet. They are called "The golden apples of the sun" and "R is for rocket" I look forward to reading them, I hope that they are as a good as the other stories that I have read. I haven't read any of his novels, but I have heard about the novel called "Fahrenheit 451".
