The missing book

The one I mentioned earlier in a discussion today? Well we were at the library and we were going to claim that the bok was lost. Well guess what the clerk did a shelf check and called us to say the book was on the shelf the whole time. The whole time I had been nagging my daughter to look for it for weeks. So we don't have to pay for the book obviously. But the dollar that she was willing to bring with I did make her apply to the fines on her card. Phew! I was thinking it could of been on their shelf. I actually looked in the kids department but I didn't realize the copy my daughter had was in the Adult section! I'm so happy we don't have to pay for it! And I did apologize to my Daughter for nagging her all these weeks to look when it was turned in all along.
Now to find 2 movies that are missing. *sigh* If it's not one thing it's another.

I wish I would of known sooner that it was an error and it wasn't missing. I feel bad for nagging her.

This is the second time something has been checked out that was returned and found on the shelf over the past 10 yrs we've lived here. I too am thankful we don't have to pay for it either.

I think it was smart to have her pay for the fines, and as well to go have them check the shelf. Make a place in your home for the library books and videos and have her put them there when she is not using them.

yep I went through all of that when my son was young too, I remember lol
