I enjoy books like Sophie's world by Jostein Gaarder and Theo's odyssey by Cathrine Clement where you learn something about a topic while you read a story.
I used Sophie's world as an introduction to philosophy and Theo's odyssey as an introduction to different religions. Of course you don't get the same kind of knowledge as you get from a non-fiction book about those topics, but I still enjoyed both books a lot. Now I am curious to know if there are other books that combine fiction and non-fiction (books where you are able to learn something about a topic via a novel)
Do you know any books that are combine ficton and non-fiction like the authors do in Sophie's world and Theo's odyssey? Please write the names of the books and the authors if you know any similar books. Do you like to read books that combine both things?

I think I have read a similar book like those two books. It is also a combination of both fiction and non-fiction. The name of the book is 'The Secret Letters of the Monk who sold his Ferrari'. This book is written by Robin Sharma. The story revolves around 9 talismans. 9 secret letters are written in those talismans. The letters reveal the truth of living a complete life.

I haven't heard about that book before, but it sounds interesting. I will write name the title and the name of the author and see if I can find it at my local library
I really like books that are a combination of fiction and non-fiction. When you read that kind of books you can enjoy a good story and learn something new at the same time. I have read both "Sophie's world" and "Theo's odyssey" more than once and I am interested in other books from the same genre.
