Twilight was a perfect mix of romance and the thrill of the supernatural. It captures a fairly larger audience and fanatics as compared to other vampire novel series like “The Vampire Chronicles” written by Anne Rice. The main character in this series is a vampire named Lestat de Lioncourt and tells of his journey from being a fledgling to a rebellious vampire. His exciting ventures to the modern times and his hard-headed nature made him endearing to his audience. Though the series have its share of solid fans and having two of its book, “Interview with the Vampire” and “Queen of the Damned”, being made into movies it lacks in general appeal. Its novels cater mostly to young adults and adults who enjoy such novels, unlike the Twilight series which captures audiences ranging from teens to adults. It also helps a lot that the actors in the movies are all gorgeous as described in the books. Team Jacob and Team Edward gathered teen fans who bombarded the online community with comments and articles in social networks, websites and blogs which added to its popularity. Who hasn’t voted for team Jacob or Team Edwards?

I guess what makes them hit is the match combine of the actor I can feel that Rob and Kristen have a strong relation before the movie was made somewhere somehow they act so naturally like a real lover
