I am worry about my account because mistake may be happen from me. But I not understand which mistake is happened. I heard lots persons account is deleted here because they violate the rules. But I think mylot should give at least once warning before deleting account they can say if next time this type of mistake is happen then your account will be deleted so I can care of it and aware of this.
I am telling this because it is impossible for me to recreate the account because no more time to spend here. I earn 10 dollar only in 3 months after. So may be not join mylot again. So I am requesting you mylot please before deleting my account give me notice or warning. My friend Am I right? my idea is good or bad.

It is up to everyone to have read the Terms before they join (everyone is required to state that they have done so by checking the box). In addition, there are the Guidelines and the FAQs which your Welcome email advises you to read. If you clearly haven't read them (or have read them and choose to ignore them), then you don't deserve a warning.
MyLot very often DOES give a warning, however, before deleting an account. If you have ever had a discussion deleted, THAT is your warning. If you ignore those warnings and continue to abuse the rules by commiting the same violations again, your account is likely to be deleted without any further warning.
There are a few offenses which merit immediate removal. Reading the Terms will make it obvious which these are.

I, too, have seen a few people (in other forums) say that their account was deleted and they "didn't do anything wrong, so it must be because MyLot delete your account when you earn too much" or something similar. Those people are ignorant and stupid and, of course, their accounts were deleted because they DID violate the Guidelines many times!
Hatley has the highest user rating of all time (see here: http://www.mylot.com/w/topusers/1.aspx ) and, as she says, she has NEVER had her account deleted! As you saw in another discussion, mine was deleted once but it was because the MyLot system was not as secure then as it is now and a hacker somehow managed to delete a number of accounts. MyLot restored them (and all the earnings) after investigation.

fanta the person who told you that does not know what the heck he is talking about . they do not delete accounts for crossing a certain amount not at all. you would have had to break a guideline rule over and over to have an account deleted. I have over 50000
points and my account has never been deleted not at all. do not let people here who are new tell you untrue crap. ask diana or lamb or me or Garden Gerty as we will tell you the truth as will owlwings. you do not get an account deleted for having any number of points ever.so do not worry so.I do not think this discussion will be
deleted. smile laugh and have fun again, m,ake some humorous discussons and relax. hatley says t you will be fine so there too
and relax wheres the old fanta w ho was happy go luc ky?

Mylot is very clear about the do's and dont's. Every user who user who reads it will be well clear about the terms and conditions but still mistakes can be happen. The only thing we must can do is just make sure that we do not do the dont's while mylotting, which means we must be very careful at what we do here in mylot.

fantabulus:
I do not find any discussion created by you totally violating guidelines -- for example if a discussions is aimed at canvassing business, engaging in referral business, starting of polls to decide this or that is good--they violate the terms and conditions. Also discussions about amount of earning made discussion wise or period wise etc. is not allowed. Anniversaries, birthdays, milestones shall not be started directly as a discussion.
There is indication indirectly for us in deletion of many of our discussions. That is why we must be careful before starting discussions.
I understand deletion of responses in a deleted discussion may not be a big problem but deletion of discussions continuously is an indication that we are not following guidelines.
good day.

hello, fanta, I never heard before that mylot deleting an account, so I just know it through this discussion. Hopefully, this never happen to everyone who really want to be here to interact and discuss, that have no mean to spamming here or abuse the FAQ. Every site have guidelines, and for me, mylot is not strict as long as we follow the guidelines

Hello Fanta,
Mylot is very strict for people who break rules and that is the reason why this site is neat compared to other sites. I don't think Mylot should give us a warning before banning us if we violate guidelines. Its better not to do anything against the rules than to ask admin for give us at least one excuse if we break rules.

It happens with everyone and to overcome it you must read guidelines frequently.I remember only once my discussion was deleted but after then I never started a discussion which someone may doubt that it is violating the guidelines.Don't worry you will learn it through experience.

It is a good idea that myLot gives warning before deleting accounts of those who violates its guidelines. However, when we joined myLot we are expected to read its guidelines for us to be aware of what we should and shouldn't do. When some posts have been deleted by myLot we also become aware that we commit violations, thus this must give us a signal of what we must avoid here.

fanta what is wrong with just r eading the guidelines and remembering the dos a nd do nots of making discussions. my lot
admins expects us t o read the guideline over and over if
necessary so that we will not inadvertently break the rules.
'read them and the FAQ's too fanta as it will give you the tools
to avoid having things deleted. y our account will be fine as long as you know the rules and od not break them. read them again
'if necessary and again and again., learn them then relax and have fun again here.

I`m absolutly sure that no account is deleted for a monor fault. If it was like that, none of us would be here. I made many mistakes when I was a newbie, in spite of reading theh rules. But some wrongdoings are outrageous. A social site cannot accept a person that is very rude or that speaks with bad words (although it accepts bad English because we are not all English native speakers). I`m sure that if you take care to have a reasonable knowledge of the rules, your account will not be deleted. Luck and take care.
