hello friends,
" No one can make you feel inferior without your consent" , just i want to know is this saying right? one of my cousin , is 12th grade failed, he started a travel business, he is very successful and earning good . His elder brother , completed MBA , but not successful in getting a good job, so just settled in a job , where pay is very less. Recently , the elder brother suggested his younger brother , to study further, at least till graduation. But the younger one , replied, whats the use of studying so much and wasting my money and time, when i can earn more without the degree. Now my elder cousin is very much hurt by his behavior, he couldn't reply any thing , how can we justify this? even i am very confused?
please share your views..and please explain me, is there anything right or wrong in this.

I agree with the statement that nobody can make you harbor any inferiority complex if you refuse to feel yourself inferior.The younger brother,your cousin,seems to be self confident,but I think,he was a little rude to his elder brother.He could have said the same thing politely.Self confidence coupled with politeness improves our personality.What the elder brother said shows his love for his younger brother and for this he deserved a polite reaction.

yes, but the younger one, always thinks he is better than anyone, in the family, as he achieved good position in short time, but he cant be such rude, thanks for the response

yes, pride is the one, which makes the situation worse, spoils our relations, a person should know how to behave , even if he achieved great heights in life.

Self confidence is good,but pride is a negative quality.A self confident person never thinks he or she is better than others.It is good that your cousin believes in himself,but he should quit his pride.It would be still better for me.I too can't be so proud and rude to others,especially my elders.

I also concur with you. Education sharpens intelligence and may help an individual to come out of the crisis. Lack of education may pose issues at times and he can get over that by having a person with knowledge for guidance. If one likes studying he can take it up. On the other hand where the individual is making a lot of money in business and has less time and aptitude for studying he should not be compelled.

You are right no one can make you feel inferior everyone has good person and intelligent. Knowledge and experience is most important than degree. I have a friend who are passed only graduation not completed any exam but he has lots of computer hardware experience and now earning 20 thousand pm. in a reputed company.

yes, if the person is not much educated ,that doesn't mean that, he is incapable of doing anything, it depends upon the talent, which God has given everyone in one or the other form. thanks for the response.

Studies only will not make a man perfect. Experience counts in all aspects of our life. Experience along with study gives wide knowledge and can take decisions quickly. In my opinion i will tell the business man to study at least a degree in his busniess oriented subjects because he can know further how to improve his business and also it is useful for his future life. If you join your childs in schools now-a-days they are asking that parents should be educated with atleast a degree. Study with experience is important.

I know some people around me are just like the brothers you wrote. The educated one can not get more money than the uneducated one. I feel one important reason for that is our education system, the way they choose students for college may have problems, or the subjects they offer in school disadapt to the needs of society. Many college students couldn't even find a job after they graduated from college, but most vocational school students can find a job, that's strange.

It's very commom in our society. But i say yes to the setence. Nobody can make you feel inferior except yourself. There are still other sentence, which shows the people with confidence never to be hurt. So i think that's ok if his youger brother don't understand the importance of degree I think the thing which really matters in this case is not degree, but kowledge. You can earn lots of money, but that doesn't show you're a kowlegeable man. To receive enough education is neccesary. May his brother can't realize at that moment. But in future, he will come to know this. The elder brother also don't need to be worry. If you can forgive your brother in this, it will show you're a good brother and stick to yourself. Because the truth often holds in few people.

yes it depends on us , if we allow the inferiority to act on us then we face the consequences, yes we should have confidence and this makes us strong enough to fight against all evils.

Basic education is required for success in life. If an individual has the trick of doing business successfully then there is no need for degree/awards and all that. He will succeed.
Your elder cousin is right in advising. But he should not insist that his ideas should be followed. Let him accept his brother as he is and not conditionally,.
For success in life education 30%/experience,confidence and ability 70%

there is many people who success without has any degree like the younger brother.the success is not only determined by degree but a hard work,smart,creativity,a chance,luck and do not forget from the God.so let say the older and younger brother is a hard worker,creative,smart but maybe their diferent is chance,luck and path from the God
