Do you use pain killers when you are in pain?

There are a lot of pain killers that you can buy over the counter.When you are having a headache,toothache, dysmenorrhea or any kind of pain. Do you take any pain medications? I usually do not take pain medications because it is hard to swallow medicines and sometimes I vomit it.I just work or keep myself busy just to ignore the pain but when I cannot tolerate it. I drink pain medications without aspirin.

For me it depends on the level of the pain weather I need it or not. If it's a headache I try get ride of it by sleep, eating, or having a little caffeine because a lot of times that is the reason why I have a headache. If that doesn't work and the pain is getting worse I'll take a aspirin or tylenal. Right now I can't take aspirin because I'm pregnant so I can only take tylenal if I'm hurting and it gets to bad. For me right now at lot of the times taking a hot bath takes care of. I'm a touch cookie so it takes a lot of pain to really start bothering me to the point I want to take something. I don't have that sensitive of a gag reflex so I can take medication in pill form.

I don't wanna be too dependent on painkillers so I just try to bear it or use other means to manage the pain as much as I can, like taking hot tea or milk, napping or a hot or cold compress. But whenever I got stricken by a severe migraine and dysmenorrhea when I was out of my own home, I have no choice but to take a tablet so I can still make it through the rest of the day.

Yes, there are alot of different pain medications. I happen to take Tylenol right now but I seriously thinking of changing to something else. I have heard that Tylenol can cause liver failer in some people. So I will be doing some research and see what is good for me to do.

there are some very good pain killers and I like to take when I am very much in pain. Otherwise I don't take pain killers that often. I Have my brother who used to eat pain killer even when there was a slight pain in his head or anything and now his body is resistant to it and there is no effect of pain killer on his body. So, take everything in medium. thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.
