Eating vegetables are good for the body.Vegetables are glow food or body regulating foods. Vegetables have vitamins and minerals that can keep us healthy. It also have fibers that cleanse our body and aids in elimination of wastes. Most of us really hates to eat these food most especially kids. This is one of the problem of mothers that have kids that do not want to eat vegetables.Sometimes they scare their kids if they do not eat.Like us, my brothers and sisters are eating vegetables because our parents would get angry if we don't. This is really a funny experience because I have learned to eat without chewing but I just swallowed it and drink water. The only vegetable that I really do not like is bitter gourd which is the only vegetable that I never chewed when I was young but now I love to eat vegetables. But there are lots of ways that we can do to let them eat vegetables without telling them that what they are eating are vegetables. There are lots of recipes that can help us with this.

Yes, vegetalbes are indeed good sources of vitamins and minerals that are essential for the body to keep it healthy and well. When I was a child, I really have not much taste for vegetables since I do not like the taste. But now, I love to eat vegetalbes and there are variety of ways to cook vegetables to make them tasty. Now that I have a child, as much as possible, I encupourqfe him to eat and I do some cooking tht makes the vegetables lovable to the taste even for children.

Do you also cook vegetarian dishes for your family? For me, the problem with veggies is that it is not as filling like meat or maybe it is a matter of getting used to it.

Blin, when i was young i don't really like eating vegetables, too. Whenever my mother cook and put vegetables in my plate, it will be left unattended. Only when i started to learn the importance of eating vegetables in school, then i start to like eating them. The first vegetable that i like to eat is cauliflower and carrots. slowly, i learn to love to eat green leafy veggies. My child don't really like to eat veggies as well. But, after i change the way i cook those veggies, my child start to like to eat green leafy and some other veggies as well.

Hi- We are almost same experience Lol, ahehehe.. But then When I was in high school I learned to love eating those veges but selected only. I do really hate veges when I was a toddler ever since I don't want to eat that specially those bad taste and how hard my parents wanted me to eat those veges to have good health still i insist and later on I learn that what you also do, without chewing but I just swallowed and drink water which bad thing to do in digestive process for our body. I experience couple of times I choke and have difficult in breathing specially I eat fast later on I Love to swallowed those veges and learn to love them. It would be a process to love that we hate to eat specially those toddler and I think we don't need to force them to eat veges rather give them a choice to eat but all veges but different kinds and Im sure they would eat one of them and slowly in their life they would love to eat those veges.

I deifinitely love to eat vegetables but not so much as to bear eating an all vegetable meal. I appreciate how it compliments meat or fish, but I definitely feel something is amiss if I eat vegetables alone. With that being said, I am not such a huge fan of salads.

When I was young, I didn't like to eat vegetables. As I grow older, I just discovered that vegetables are really delicious. I am happy that my toddler eats vegetables too. She especially likes carrots, broccoli and potatoes. My strategy is not to make a big deal about vegetables when she is around. I just give it to her just like any other food, like biscuits and ice cream. She eats like any other food too. I think she enjoys different tastes and different textures of food.

I love eating vegetables and I usually only cook things that are mainly vegetarian but sometimes I also eat meat as well. I love pretty much every vegetable and will eat them all. I think that a lot of people grow up not liking vegetables because they never try them or as a kid they never had to eat them so they grew up thinking that they still didn't. I've also eaten bitter gourd and it definitely isn't a pleasant taste but it is really good for you and I think that more people need to start focusing on food that is healthy for them and not just tastes good. Fortunately though a lot of really healthy foods are delicious as well.

Vegetables become more appealing to me as I grow older. Before, I was all about the sweet and sugary deserts, now I am switching to healthier things like vegetables! Before, I only really like potatoes and leafy greens but now my palate has become fed up with junk food and too much meat so I eat veggies often because they have that refreshing aftertaste.

I like many vegetables. Vegetables are healthy and tasty, refreshing. I don't get enough of them to eat usually. They are expensive sometimes so we don't buy enough. If we were on a more strict diet I would probably feel better daily. My favorite kinds of vegetables are: spinach, cabbage, peas, corn on the cob I could eat those all of the time. Eating a salad is a good habit because it is a mix of so many vegetables. Its hard to get children to like their vegetables, this is true.

Yes, I do. For what reasons? I guess you already have listed them above in your discussion and it's all true. Vegetables is a part of our needed foods. I agree also with that bitter gourd, I don't like it too, ever. Let me eat all those other vegetables but not that one. Eating vegetables are just a training we have to start at a young age. It's up to the parents to discipline and show to their children what it means to have them around on your dining table.

Very true. Vegetables are the source of all essentials vitamins and nutrients we need daily. Sadly, because of the increase of technology we often eat those delicious food nowadays which taste great but no nutrient on it. I'm starting to eat now more vegetables.

I enjoy most vegetables, except brussel sprouts. No one in our family likes it very much. What we do to encourage the kids to eat their veggies is to give them veggies that that enjoy. They like carrots, spinach, potatoes, peas. They also love fruit, so we give them lots of fruit as well. We don't force them to eat food that they really don't like.

Like most people, I also do not like to eat vegetables. But I try my very best to eat them every now and then because I know that they are good for the body. Even though the taste of most vegetables isn't pleasant at all, still we have to try and eat them because it is only for our own good.

Yes they are good for us but try telling a very stubborn child with very strong intentions of not eating any of it. I liked eating various foods including veggies as a kid. It was my brother who did not and my dad would sit there all night with him making hi eat them, I don't even know if he ever did or not but it went on almost every night. You'd think they'd give up on it but dad was really trying his hardest to get him to eat them. Today he still will only eat green beans and corn, sometimes other things like onions. He is still a milk drinker and watches TV like he used to as a child as well. I just don't know the answer for kids not liking their veggies expect that they should probably take vitamins if they don't eat them. I don't know how my brother has gone through 45 years of life without most of them in his system but he does have some issues so maybe that is a factor of it. He is a salt, sugar, fat and other non-healthy food lover, coughs every morning and night like he has a lung problem, and just isn't fit now. He had dentures in his 30's already and balding at 20 so it might effect kids in those kinds of ways later in life.

I like vegetables and I like eating it any how. I have seen one of my chinese friend who has two kids. She makes different kinds of snacks out of the vegetables and the kids really like it. She is very smart in making the snacks, i guess she takes the recipes from the internet. thanks for sharing and have wonderful day ahead.

When I was a young kid I never liked eating vegetables, but now I like my veggies. I actually prefer it over meat and poultry. Also, when cooking or preparing it you can always never go wrong with it. Its so versatile you can prepare it in a lot of different ways.

I have never had a problem with eating vegetables. Even when I was younger I ate them without any problems. My kids don't like them to well but they do eat some. When they eat a new one we make them at least try it.

ok, I understand your points. It is a serious matter. I think eating vegetables is very necessary for a healthy body. In my country almost everyone like vegetables because we use them in many delicious dishes such as "pho".
