On the internet I found a list of Lonely Planets top suggestions for 2012. I was surprised that my own country (Denmark) was mentioned in the list and other countries were Uganda, Myanmar, Ukraine, Jordan, Bhutan, Cuba, New Caledonia, Taiwan and Switzerland. Have you visited any of those countries? How was your trip? Which of the countries from the list would you be interested in visiting and why? I have visited Switzerland, but I was just passing through the country and I didn't have the time to explore the country at all, so I would like to return to Switzerland and visit some of the different parts of Switzerland. I have a Swiss friend and we went to language school together in Italy. He is from the German part of Swizerland, but he studied in the French part of Switzerland and in his letters he told me about his experiences there. I wish to visit both the German, the French and the Italian part of Switzerland. I am a volunteer language teacher for a family from Myanmar and I would be interested in visiting their country in the future. There is no embassy my country and it will be a little complicated to get a visa for Myanmar, but I don't think that it is impossible. I plan on visiting Taiwan on my second trip to Asia. I want to visit Taipei, Tainan and Kaohsiung and I plan on spending a couple of days in each place. I would love to visit Kiev in Ukraine, and I know that there is a train from Warsaw. I am also interested in Uganda, because I know two people who have been there and I used to have a classmate from Uganda (she lives in Denmark now)

It is nice to hear to that you have a girlfriend from Ukraine, which city is she from? I think that Ukraine is an interesting country, and I hope to visit Kiev in the future. I don't know much about the other parts of the Ukraine. I have only seen Kiev on pictures, but it looks like a very beautiful city. I would be able to visit Ukraine without a visa and that makes it much easier. I hope to visit Ukraine some years from now.

Thanks I hope to visit Ukraine in the future. I have heard about the site called Couchsurfing, but I haven't used it myself. I like the idea behind the website, because it gives you the chance to visit a new place even if you can't afford to pay for a hotel room because you will be able to stay in someone's home instead. I have thought about joining the site as a host. At the moment we don't have any extra beds in our home, but when we get a new couch we will be able to offer accomodation for travellers from another country.

it is always great to travel to places that offer new things. for me, i plan to travel to the scandinavian countries. i am fascinated by the stories and sceneries in those countries. i also plan to visit taiwan. it sounds to be quite different country that is able to withstand the might of mainland china.

I have visited the other Scandinavian countries, and I think that Norway is especially beautiful. My ex-boyfriend and I sailed from northern Denmark to Bergen, and the view from the ferry was amazing. In Sweden I have visited Stockholm, Malmo and Ystad. I liked Stockholm the most. I visited Stockholm during the winter, it was cold and it showed and I imagine that the city is even more beautiful in the summer months. Taiwan sounds like an interesting place to visit. I want to visit Taiwan on my second trip to Asia and I think that it will be an interesting place to explore.
