I have an idea that I wish to do some more traveling in Eastern Europe. It is near to home and it has cheaper prices than Western Europe. I have an idea of a route by train beginning in Russia if I can manage to afford the visa, then to the capital of Moldova, round Ukraine, down to Montenegro via Serbia with a side trip into Albania. Then a bus to Macedonia. If I visit Zagreb then I could do a day trip to the Plitvice Lakes. Next I would go to Bosnia Herzegovina. I could finally take a train to Hungary.
I am not sure whether to take the trains all the way including London to Brussels and Paris to London on Euro Star. Given the prices I am tempted to get a two cheap flights to mainland European destinations. Like I could fly Bristol to Krakow and Budapest to Bristol.
Have you ever bought point to point fares?
Did you ever have a transport pass?
How do you get an idea for a journey?
Have you ever visited Eastern Europe?

I have visited Eastern Europe several times. One of the first countries that I visited in Eastern Europe was Poland. I went there in 1998, and I stayed in a small town close to Wroclaw. During the time that I spent there I visited Wroclaw and several places other in the area. Two years later I had a job in Poland and worked in village close to the Czech border. In 2010 I visited Bulgaria, Romania Slokakia and Poland. I would like to go back to Eastern Europe and visit some of the places where I haven't been yet. I would like to visit some of the same places as you. I am especially interested in Ukraine, Moldova and Albania, and I hope to visit those countries in the future.
