That's a very awful situation. You need to live a healthy, stress free and a positive lifestyle. It would really help you have a good night rest every time. Stop thinking of stuffs that makes you feel bad. Always be optimistic and live life positively.

That is one of the reasons I like to read when I go to bed. It helps to distract me and occupies my mind. There is nothing more annoying then your mind rehashing daily events or worrying over something you can't do a thing about until the sun comes up. I think it's important not to go to bed before you're tired. If you lay down too early it can cause you to toss and turn. I've had to get up many a night because I laid down too early.

You just need some relaxations to make you calm with ease.Breath plenty of fresh air when you are tense during bedtime, and try to calm yourself by holding your hands and grip it closely for 2 minutes, then relax and just think nothing but emptiness and soon you would know you are already asleep.

That is bad for your health. Do not think too much. A lot of depressed people started with that stage. Much better to relax yourself and think of happy thoughts.

I too have a habit off thinking too much about certain topic, mostly useless, as I feel it afterward. I am trying to have a control over this weird habit as I do harm to myself by wasting my time and sleep thinking over things that perhaps even I may not feel important later. One way I prefer getting rid of these thoughts is to engage myself at some other place which recreates me. And gradually I get back to normal after few of those sessions.
