It used to be a distraction for me when I joined it. But as soon as I realized this fact I started finding out some other ways to pass my time rather than just sitting and spending my time chatting along with friends. Mylot is a result of that very search. I also saw the change that I am no more liking face book to an extent I used to do it before. It is just your determination that would work and not the deactivation of your account. If your mind still thinks about face book you will finally end up reactivating it.

It can become an addiction. I see it at my sister, always on the facebook. Whether on phone, laptop or IPad, she's always hooked to facebook. Maybe that's why I dislike facebook and I use it briefly. My sister's using it for the whole family :)

Yes, Facebook can turn out be be addiction for people who have lot of space in their daily life because seriously I haven't seen any high-qualified professionals are keen about it. Yes, they do have account in Facebook but show minimum interest and spend less time, may be couple of minutes hardly. However it's great community to meet lots of known and unknown once's. In terms of the amount of time we spend their is concerned, well it completely depends on individual's thinking, attitude and obviously time as well.

well it depends on the way you use it. at times if you don't take your time, watching peoples pictures self can make you waste a lot of time there not to talk of charting with people like old classmates, friends, family members etc

Yeah facebook can be a addiction as well when you start wasting your time and energy on it and you gain nothing out of it. It is good the use it moderately. I don't even go to facebook anymore like before. i go on facebook one a week to see what is happening in my family and friends lives and what is new. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Well,I can't seriously consider FaceBook being an addiction, although I spend pretty much, not necessarily quality time on it. Of course,I can see how my friends are doing, even my closest and nearest friends. But most of the time I find myself doing nothing than watch the same photos over and over again. So,I won't say that I'm having an addiction for Facebook, but I don't do anything important as long as I'm staying there.

Facebook can become an addiction if one allows that to happen. It's just like anything else I suppose, if it's done in moderation it should be fine.
