Randy Jackson Leaves American Idol

American Idol lost its appeal to me when Simon left. The past winners did not really became big stars, only a few of them became one. I was never a fan of Jennifer Lopez becoming a judge to. I don't think that he is musically qualified to judge. I know she is a music celebrity and stuff but I don't really like here music. A lot of other singers can sing like her. I heard that Nikki Minaj (spelling) may replace Randy.

So Randy left as well? How about Jaylo did she make it final that she is really leaving this show? I first read her intention to leave but was unable to follow the news about this. I know Steven Tyler quit already and now it's Randy. They are good judges and I really am sad to see them go one by one. But they must have good reasons for doing so. So who would be the next judges? I hope they are as good as the 3.

Ratings have dropped a lot, so I'm sure the judges were offered less money. I heard several names mentioned to replace Randy; however, it doesn't matter to me not watching anyway. I stopped watching when Simon left.

I am not sure who would be a good replacement. Part of the show is the judges and if he leaves it will be so interesting to see who replaces him. Maybe they should have one judge that is into country music for a change.

I think it might be loosing its appeal. Once Simon left, and then with all the controversy about some of the final contestants and all. I stopped watching it while back as I just thought they were loosing ground on finding good singers.. and all the arguing and carrying on. All three original judges (once Randy leaves) have gone and it just isn't the same. I'd be like replaced Jeff Probst on Survivor... he IS Survivor.. like the original three were AI. Plus.. I admit I am not to up on all the winners, but I so seldom hear anything about the winners moving on and doing records etc. Some of them, yeah, but for most... I don't hear anything the winners move on

Is this official? I thought Randy was staying? I'm happy if he's leaving, though. He does need to retire from that show. I didn't like any of the judges last year. I'm not sure now who the judges will be.

I couldn't believe it when I heard it. They are all dropping off like flies. My husband said he thinks that they are leaving because of money and such. I think I agree. I hate to see them go. I am not sure who I'd like to see take his place. But yeah I think it would have been nice to have Michael Jackson take his place if he was still alive. I think then I'd still watch it. Do you think Steven will still be there, I hope so, I hope he doesn't leave either. But I don't think I'll be watching any more then.
